I would go again
Pros:

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, helpful staff, ideal location for skiing.

Cons:

Breakfast options were good enough in general but less for the price we paid. No fresh vegetables in the breakfast buffet- like tomatoes, cucumbers or paprika (as a vegetarian it was important). But the whatever was available was fresh and good quality

Excellent hotel with amazing views
Pros:

Large room with very big bathroom. Amazing view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Good venue for our large two day meeting. Wifi could do with improvement.

Pros:

Beautiful dining room and lounge. Much nicer than the outdated photos on Booking.com show. Friendly accommodating staff and good food. The pool is a good size and the private sauna facility bookable for a nominal fee. Right in the centre of Kandersteg and convenient for walks and ski lifts

Cons:

The room photos were a bit misleading as they show all similar rooms as if they are one. As a result our three teenage children were crammed into one bedroom when it appeared to be two separate sleeping areas. I raised this with the manager but was not offered a reduced price although she accepted it was misleading.

Zimmer: sehr schön. Frühstück: enorm reichhaltig! Lage: nahe Bahnhof.

Beautiful hotel in lovely village of Kandersteg. One of my favorite hotel in Switzerland. Good value for money with rich breakfast and luxury dining experience, charming and friendly atmosphere with attention to details, cozy rooms, very professional and service oriented staff and management. Perfect for weekend gateway with family or friends. Happy to come back every year.

Die Belle Epoque Woche war wunderbar und gut organisiert

Alles tip top

Cons:

Leider sind die Böden schlecht isoliert. Die Nachbarn obendran waren früh morgens zu hören. Ihre Schritte plus TV. Aber es ist ein altes Haus und wir versuchen das zu verstehen.

Beautiful room in the original chalet! Great breakfast! Wonderful to start or finish the day in the pool - great that the hotel provided bathrobes!
