Bathroom ceiling too low, old squeeky beds, no air conditioning, no fridge in the room.
Noise and music from the terrace till late in the evening.
We arrived very late at night and had to leave early morning so we didn’t have enough time to experience the facilities. However we noticed they had a cozy lounge and reasonable breakfast was offered. Parking was not difficult but the area is a paid parking area. It’s in a nice quiet village which we liked. Lift is available so it’s helpful with luggage. The view from my room was also nice.
Only minor issues like some glasses in the room was chipped we probably could’ve got it replaced but it was late night so we managed. Also there’s no AC in the room if that matters to you. We came in June and with the windows open it was ok.
Great stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and happy to help. The facilities of this hotel are really good from the outside, inside and balcony area very nicely decorated and kept clean. The room was spacious and clean, had everything we needed for a short stay. This hotel also provides guest pass with discounts to different things around the town and attractions. We stayed here for 2 days to hike the lake Oeschinen. Great location in a beautiful town with amazing views and lots to do.

Mon fils a beaucoup apprécié la piscine , notamment après les activités de montagne ce fut très appréciable.
J’ai aimé la simplicité du personnel et de leur gentillesse.
Une petite attention nous a été donné pour notre départ , des bouteilles d’eau bien fraîche .
Situation géographique excellente
C’est un établissement qui mériterait un petite rafraîchissement.

This hotel exceeded expectations beyond my wildest dreams! Located at the base of oeschinesee (the bluest lake I have ever seen), this hotel was one of the most incredible places I have ever been, I never wanted to leave! The room was lovely and featured a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and nature, the staff (especially the front desk woman) were exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. The pool was magnificent and also had panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding nature, pine trees, garden and mountains. It was a warm pool, so staying there to relax after hiking all day with the lovely views was the highlight of my stay! So beautiful!!! The breakfast was incredibly vast and delicious, there were so many options and different types of coffee to drink! The dining room felt like the inside of a palace and also had mountain views. Located just a 15 minute walk from the oeschinesee cable car was convenient and once you get to the lake, you will have a wonderful experience there too (so many incredible, breathtaking hikes to do). The town of kandersteg itself is very quaint, cute and welcoming: I loved the people, nature and ease of access. This was such an incredible lovely stay and I will definitely be returning soon!
Loud upstairs neighbours, kept stomping around but this didn't impact my stay at all.
