A very Zen place.
Pros:

This property looked like an Hacienda with lots of detailed charm. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Very clean all throughout the Hotel. The garden was so beautiful and we even got to go to the chapel.the restaurant was delicious, a bit pricey, but worth it.

Classic hotel in Toluca
Pros:

What a classic hotel with an attention to detail in its design and decoration. Our junior suite and standard King rooms were very quiet and comfortable. The restaurant staff was very attentive to our dietary requests.

Cons:

Some people in the reception could have been more proactive. We wanted to go to the Nevado de Toluca. He finally arranged a driver and when we arrived, the trails were closed due to an accident that happened a while ago. This is the major site in the area. Surely someone could have known this and spared us a 5 hour round trip drive and 1700 pesos. I count on my hotels and drivers to know what’s going on.

I absolutely loved my stay and wish it could have been longer. I will definitely return.
Pros:

The breakfast was average. Plates should be heated when serving warm food. Coffee could be better. Service was great with very friendly and attentive staff. View of the garden and ambiance in the restaurant was perfect. The soft background music made for a relaxing way to start the morning. The bar was very nice where I enjoyed a margarita and cappuccino. Comfortable seating and attentive staff.

Cons:

Providing a coffee maker in the room would have been very convenient. This simple improvement would be appreciated by most guests. Especially after a late check in when restaurant is closed. It should be standard for any hotel room.
