This is a low service hotel- thinly staffed, small rooms great location.
Pros:

Good low cost option but the staff is not great
Pros:

The hotel is okay. It's a low cost option compared to options in Boston downtown. It's close to the Metro station and really easy to get to the city. Rooms are good and beds comfortable.

Cons:

The staff is rude. They don't even reply to your questions or it feels like you are bothering them. Valet parking is paid and it takes a while to get your car back.

Pros:

Porter Square Hotel is in my top two hotels (I also include Hotel 1868
because they are sister hotels). When I arrived, i had a present of delicious
sweets. Everything was great, the bathtub was big enough launch a mini
fleet of toy boats and all the rubber ducks. I completely leaned into being
Eloise at least for a little while. Also, during this time, I had to do a move
out from my place and got help and that made it much easier when I
checked out.

Cons:

There isn't anything to dislike except they are almost always booked solid. That is excellent for them but terrible for me. I look forward to my next stay.

Great hotel near Boston
Pros:

The staff was very nice and helpful. We travelled with a Pick up truck which could not fit into their garage. But the valet driver could offer a space at their second hotel. The parking price of 28 dollars per night is very affordable in a city like Boston. The location is great as the metro station is nearby.

Cons:

The rooms are very tiny. With two big luggages it can get crowded.

The room was smaller than I thought but we where attending my niece's wedding so we weren't hanging out much in the room so it was perfect it was clean tidy and the shower was powerful with lost of hot water..

Fijn hotel met uitstekende verbinding Boston - Harvard
Pros:

Uitstekende ligging dicht bij de metro met rechtstreekse verbinding naar Boston en Harvard. Wegens geen mogelijkheid tot ontbijtbuffet (enkel à la carte) waren we blij dat er een Target op wandelafstand was waardoor we snel iets konden halen. Er zijn ook eetgelegenheden in de buurt voor een ontbijt. Uitstekende bedden en stille kamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Ondanks de uitstekende ligging met vlotte verbinding naar Boston vonden we de buurt rondom het hotel niet uitnodigend. Daardoor zijn we twee avonden na elkaar richting Harvard getrokken om daar in een zeer gemoedelijke sfeer uit eten te gaan. Levendige buurt! Een echte aanrader!
