Clean smart hotel near the T
Small room, bit expensive
The bed is a bit small for me.
La excelente predisposición del personal, que la mayor parte hablara español, que nos dieran la cantidad de agua mineral, café y leche que necesitáramos, que la habitación estuviera disponible antes de lo esperado, que el check out fuera a las 12, la limpieza y la estética.
Location close to subway station and nearby restaurants. Restaurant in the hotel serves great breakfast and dinner.
Room cleaning&servicing only upon request. One day we requested it and it didn´t happen and no reason was provided. Overall a bit too pricey for the size and quality of the room.
The hotel is a lovely little hotel at Porter Square (across the street) where there is a CVS and many restaurants, a wine store, a store with ceramics from local artists that is wonderful for gifts, a Target, and bars, so the hotel is situated at a very convenient location. The Porter metro station is also across the street (3-minute walk from the hotel) that takes you anywhere you like in Boston, including Kendall Square/MIT on the red line (no change of trains). The Harvard campus and Harvard square is a nice 23-minute walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very small; there was no fridge in my room and no proper closet, but I knew that and I did not mind. Rooms and the hotel are very clean. There is a nice restaurant/bar inside the hotel where you can have breakfast and dinner or a drink. The beds are comfortable. I would stay there again. If you travel for work in this area of Boston, it is a great little hotel at a great location in Cambridge, that you'll enjoy for sure.
It would be nice if there could be a small fridge in the room. I did not like that the music on the floors is a little loud during the day and you can hear it when you are in the room: If you travel internationally, this can be a problem as you need to rest/sleep and adjust to the time difference or if you need to work in the room. Also, I did not like that the shower heads cannot be adjusted: the shower cabin is small so you need to turn off and on the water to wash long hair properly, and you have to cope with a little cold water in the beginning, which is a minor nuance -nothing tragic.
Close to the train station and a convenience store. There is a microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, and coffee machince at basement floor.
There is a little bit of noise from the next room, even when they close the door and are talking.
Location was extremely convenient.
My only suggestion would be to put a luggage stand in the room.
Great location. The T was very accessible.
The bed was not very comfortable
Front desk staff, Stacey was very welcoming and friendly.
Dusty/ musty smell in the room.
Small but clean and functional room, with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the coffee and water station downstairs and the staff was super nice and helpful. Great location near the T, and some shops and restaurants. Easy to get to from the airport. Good shower, though a larger person may find that the door to the shower is a tight squeeze. No chemical fragrances in the room or common spaces.
The wallpaper and general decor felt a little dated. I would have appreciated a suitcase rack. It's a perfectly adequate room otherwise.
Nothing
I left my luggage at hotel and I ended up going to emergency room and they brought my luggage to police station . Why?
Perfect location. Friendliness of staff. Comfortable room
I liked everything,
