Comforta Hotel Tanjung Pinang

Air-conditioning was faulty but glad they managed to fix it when we return after making complaints.

Classic atmosphere

The bungalow room is good but their deluxe room bedsheet and pillow is abit dirty. Service is good.

Room is big and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is ok except the fish is too salty and coffee too thin

Very comfortable, far to beach and near KFC🙂🙂🙂.

Simple basic hotel. Good for the price paid. Room booked for 3 guests but hotel prepared for 2 guests. Recovery by hotel was fast and efficient. Fast and efficient check in and check out. Best nasi goreng ikan bilis i gave ever eaten. Disappointed that the hotel opened up the pool to the public and hence the only opportunity i had to be at the pool, I was surrounded by families with little children and young adults. Eating stalls across the street. Also a 10,000rupiah mall. Will consider the hotel for future visits to Tg Pinang

Very Nice

The hotel facilities is good, room is clean and comfortable. For breakfast, is ok except the half-boiled eggs overcook become hard boiled.

Close to the airport with shuttle service, but despite having sent a message through the hotel's website the day before, there was no shuttle service provided from the hotel, so I ended up paying 80,000IDR to a shabby airport taxi. Nice front appearance and a charming swimming pool. Staff are all courteous and kind. But the room was too dark for my comfort during the daytime. The most frustrating aspect of this hotel is its very poor internet connection, which keeps being lost after a short while. Practically unusable in the room. Only in the reception area it is tolerably connected for more than several minutes.

Overall, my brief stay in Comforta is simply amazing. From the warmest greetings of Front Desk in Day 1 to my actual stay experience (3 days/2 nights) was perfect. Breakfast is average but it is conveniently located in front of savers supermarket. Wow! You can get local things & just cross over back to Comforta. That's a deal breaker.

Transport in Tanjung Pinang is not convenient. A risk to take "taxi". Prices are high. Even ask for tips.

Hotel near a mosque. The public loud speaker of prayers in the very very late night is disturbing our sleep.

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities. In some parts, it is beyond expectations such as the beautiful food for breakfast and the swimming pool is great. In other areas, there is a need for maintenance, such as the air-conditioning is temperamental, the fridge door does not close properly, the lock is broken in our front door.

this is my second stay in this hotel,and i feel like home,all the staff are friendly and helpful, from the general manager mr wijaya,mr verry cafe asst manager and the manager they are all nice and friendly people,i have no doubt of recommending any one who are going to tanjong pinang to stay in this hotel.

The hotel was nice enough to let me check in early. The check in was supposed to be at 2PM but I arrived at almost 11 AM. So they were nice enough to have my welcome drink and get the room ready for me. When I checked in the moment I tried to put my toiletries I noticed the smell of the toilet. It was really awful. I called the house keeping to do something about it.

They bleached the toilet and the surrounding area. But the smell came back 20 minutes later. I just didn't bother with it. I just let the washroom door remained closed. The one thing that they forgot to mention was the free shuttle to the airport and ferry terminal. So I ended up spending CAD 20.

The gym equipment is old so I ended up using my luggage to do my bench press and shoulder press as well as doing my lunge. The room is huge enough to let me work out. It is far from the beach but it is in a location where its close to stores and restaurant which I prefer since it is a get away not doing a lot two days break from running around like mania.

I however would not want to go back to the hotel, unless its an improvement in the gym. It's not a recommendation for people who wanna explore Bintan Island. It is just a place to do a quick stop and recharge.
