Every thing was perfect

Our stay at the Greenway Spa Hotel did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, our booking had been entered incorrectly, leaving our reserved room unavailable. The “upgrade” offered turned out to be a cheaper room. Cleanliness was also lacking — the bathroom floor was dusty and appeared not to have been cleaned for weeks.
The spa facilities were especially poor: the steam room was out of order, the sanarium was overheated with a broken thermometer, and the sauna’s temperature and humidity gauges didn’t work. Hygiene standards were low as guests used the sauna without towels, with no clear enforcement of rules.
Breakfast was underwhelming for a hotel of this class, with inconsistent coffee and poorly prepared Eggs Royale. Dinner was the only highlight. Check-out was chaotic, with a billing error that initially overstated the charges.
Overall: very poor value and not recommended.

I would love to give this place an excellent rating however I can't because we had a power cut and we weren't able to eat food in the evening, which I realise is not the hotel's fault

One thing I will say, they do do a great breakfast

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Greenway. We were upgraded on arrival, and everything about the stay was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was lovely, and the spa was also very good - my partner enjoyed her treatment as well.

Food was excellent - we tried both the brasserie and main dining restaurant - both were delicious. Breakfast was also lovely.

The only thing that could potentially be improved would be the WiFi, which wasn't great in our room - but it certainly didn't spoil our stay - we'd definitely come back!

Staff location food and hotel all amazing however our room 'Ash' had 2 small windows overlooking roof and walls of hotel and no view of countryside

Comfortable quiet hotel. Arrived late around 8.50pm and reception staff quickly organised bar menu food before kitchen closed! Large room beautiful gardens

Delightful stay for our anniversary. Beautiful hotel with great character and tasteful, fresh decor. Four poster room was wonderful and the views were a real treat. Room service was quick and the quality of all our meals in our room and in the restaurant was consistently excellent. The spa was perfect in every respect - clean and comfortable. The happy & helpful staff all made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the beautiful grounds and its views. The only way our stay could have been better would have been another night or two. :-)

A lovely property with good food and very nice facilities. The bee problem around the hot tub was odd and one front desk person told us a day trip would be 3 buses and 40 pounds when it was actually 1 bus and 6. Overall a lovely hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff very attentive and helpful. Got an upgraded room which was great. Food a tad expensive and we all thought the desserts were bland. Spa was good but can't comment on treatments as didn't have any. Would recommend.

The hotel and spa are beautiful. Everything was clean, the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating.

Excellent one night get away with the wife. The hotel is very picturesque with loads of history. Spa facilities are great and the good was exceptional.

A fantastic small hotel in all area’s, by far the best UK hotel we have stayed in for a long long time and we stay in many.

Staff very friendly, meals were tasty but a bit too much ‘fine dining,’ so small portions. Very limited, only the same 4 choices each day. Kitchen had oven problems too, which was unfortunate. Room was very comfortable and well maintained but there was a constant loud sound of running water in the radiators, very distracting especially throughout the night. Spa facilities looked really good but we weren’t able to book any treatments.

Lovely place, only issue is getting back out onto the main road, given volume and speed of traffic.
