Location is GREAT! Everything else not so much.

It is very worn out and could definitely do with a makeover. We didn’t like having to walk up 2 flights off stairs for pool access.

Room 316 was a miss Room 508 was a HIT!! (staff all exceptionally kind and helpful)
Pros:

the location was excellent. we liked the pool. the staff and the service we received from housekeeping and reception.
room 508 one bedroom with office and balcony (the room we were moved into for nights 2 to the end of our stay) was very nice with a balcony and updated facilities and more comfortable furniture. it was cleaner also.

all the staff were great in their assistance to us and we are very pleased with how they tried to help us when we asked. and the communication was great

I will be seeking a refund for our first night as we unfortunately didn't get the sleep we paid for. I'll follow up with the hotel directly.

Cons:

Biggest issue. room 316 one bedroom. with office.
unfortunately the air conditioning was broken in our room there were separate stand fans running in every room which concerned me that the air con was a known issue. there is HVAC work ongoing in the building which caused the building to lose air con when we arrived but when hat was rectified our room didn't have air con. it was cooler in the corridor outside.!
we didn't sleep much at all the first night. the night staff attempted to assist us by resetting the system but it didn't work. they were unable to give us a different space that night at 2am when we realised it wasn't going to improve. . thankfully I received a message very early the next morning to contact reception and we were moved to a very nice room for the remainder of our stay. and the staff moved our belongings perfectly even placing the groceries in the fridge just so.
ten out of ten follow up service score for staff.
our first room 316 had other issues
the floor and surfaces were not very clean and the furniture was quite dated and uncomfortable to lay or sit on.
the utensils and crockery felt grimy.
there wasn't a clothes rack to air laundry on only a dryer and an old school clothes line above the tub which was insufficient.
there was no brush and dustpan to sweep crumbs. housekeeping comes once every four days so in between times you have to keep the place nice yourself. but without basics like surface cleaner or a brush and pan this is tricky.
room 508.
the air con was spectacular!!! and we had a balcony which was a nice bonus we didn't pay for with our original booking. but we did enjoy. there was mould on the shower curtain, there was no draining rack or plug for the kitchen sink. but reception happily organised these for me. I found a brush and pan which was nice but I don't think it's standard in every room.

Pros:

The room was apartment-style, with a spacious living area and bathroom. It was very convenient to be able to do laundry in the room. There were also spa, Tennis courts. Restaurants and a shopping centre within walking distance, so the location was great.

Cons:

Compared to the photos, the building felt quite old. There was also a hole in the hallway ceiling, which looked like it was under repair.

Sleep would have been nice, still a great location though

Location is great, we've stayed at that location before and love it. The staff are always friendly and parking is a breeze.

Cons:

Air-conditioning was not working properly, it was clear that this had already been identified as an issue, as there was a loud fan set up in the room. This meant there was a choice between not being able to sleep because too warm, or not being able to sleep because loud fan. In the future, perhaps ask the customer if they are okay with the changes made to the room.

Good value.
Pros:

The location was easy to walk to from Canberra Theatre and to Canberra shopping centre. The room was comfortable and very clean. Great size. Plenty of room.

Would probably return if attending Canberra Theatre again.
Pros:

Location is fabulous.

Cons:

Stayed here when it was still Waldorf and it was very tired then. We were told it was undergoing refurbishment. When we returned a few years later we couldn’t see any changes really. Huge holes in the corridor ceilings showed all the plumbing and wiring and it smelled a bit damp. It could be a great place with all it offers but then I guess prices would increase. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great location but very unkept, outdated rooms.
Pros:

The location was great, easy to walk to places and civi shopping centre with lots of food options available. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

Cons:

The property felt very dirty and unkept. There was previous guests rubbish in our room and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The lounge and carpet felt very dirty and worried to have bare feet in room. Linen and sheets were clean but surfaces and common areas felt very dirty from being outdated. Although the property was priced cheaper.

広めの部屋でキッチン付きのコスパがいい宿泊
Pros:

フードコートやスーパーが入っているショッピングセンターから徒歩圏内なので、食に困ることがなくよかったです。

施設は古めですが、その分部屋が広く、キッチンも備え付けだったこともあり買ってきたものを部屋で食べてゆっくり過ごすことができました。

ホテル入口、エレベーターのセキュリティーもしっかりしていて安心でした。

Cons:

古い分廊下が暗かったりしますが、慣れてくれば大丈夫です。

部屋の掃除は４日に１回とのことでした。
