Pros:

Large rooms, wonderful facilities including a washer and dryer, excellent restaurant and fascinating historic stories from its Post Office days.

Cons:

Loved it all, just was a bit of a walk from the Octagon area.

I mistakenly left my glasses behind in the room. Felt it was disappointing that they made NO effort to contact me. There is no excuse, they have all our personal details.

Pros:

Beautifully kept. Modern decor. Great dining facilities. Beautiful meals. Helpful staff.

Cons:

We asked if we could get our son a roller bed in our room for one of the 3 nights we were staying. We were told you dont do roller beds. It was a bit of an emergency that he ended up wanting to stay with us. We were very fortunate to secure the last decent bed in Dunedin for him. It was disappointing he could not stay with us.

An 11/10 experience I want to have again.
Pros:

This hotel has to be one of the most comfortable I have stayed in.

The room size is extremely generous with a sitting area and king sized bed, which was gorgeous to sleep on.

The facilities were exceptional with a washing machine and clothes dryer which was ideal for us mid trip. There is even a wine fridge!

But the best was the bathroom. Not what you get in 99% of hotels in this price range. Dual wash basins, a large shower space, super easy water control - just push a button - and great water pressure.

There is a nice bar area and dining area. The service was fantastic and the food of high quality and reasonably priced.
