Disappointing!
Pros:

Not much at all; and we are not fussy and do not have high expectations.

Cons:

Very tiny room- opening the door to the bathroom we only just cleared the toilet bowl.
There were trip hazards everywhere - the most dangerous of which was a very steep step down from the very small bathroom to our very small
bedroom which made night time bathroom visits an OH & S hazard.
There was a tiny window that looked
into a very close neighbouring brick wall making the space very claustrophobic.
Had we been more assertive we would have insisted on a change of room or just left.

Pros:

Central to everything. Railway station across the road. Room was beautiful and very clean. Whilst in a busy location, street noise could not be heard..

Pros:

Extremely comfortable and spacious. So good to stretch out in the room and on the terrace to enjoy a wine. Easy walk to shops, dinner and morning coffee if not at the hotel which also looked good.

Cons:

Did not realise it was so close to the train station and crossing. Just a little noisy when trains came through.

Pros:

Everything! The hotel was in an excellent location. Easy walking distance to numerous places to eat. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy! Had dinner one of the nights in the on site restaurant and the meal and service was amazing. Breakfast was just as good. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was great

A little bit of provenance at the Provincial
Pros:

Beautiful furniture and decor.

Cons:

We found the mattress too soft for our liking which meant an uncomfortable sleep but we have joint issues so it is to be expected wherever we stay!

Very pleasant
Pros:

Loved the decor, it felt very welcoming & comfortable. The bed was a bit too soft for us, but we still slept quite well. We had breakfast in the restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed....staff were excellent, as was the young lady on reception on our arrival. All in all, we would likely stay again when in the area.

Cons:

I did notice however, there were dirty handmarks on the edge of the bathroom door...they didn't appear to be new.!.....that was a bit disappointing as everything else was spotless.
