Had an enjoyable stay in our nice and cosy room , id stay there again .
Pros:

The location was great , walking distance to restaurants . It was very clean and had everything we needed .

Cons:

It was a little hard carrying our luggage up and down the stairs .

Great location! Short walk to Main Street, and near the railway station if you didn’t want to drive! Lovely restaurant and great breakfast!

Lovely stay.
Pros:

The bed was super comfy with lovely linens and a great sized room with beautiful furnishings.
Lola Restaurant has some of the best food I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and presented meals and super friendly competent staff.
Easy, off street parking.

Cons:

Nothing.

I wouldn’t stay here again. It was overpriced. I could hardly move in my bedroom. There are a lot better options in Ball

It was a perfect little get away with delicious food and a lovely environment.

The room was neat and tidy, the restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and dinner and all the staff were extremally friendly and willing to assit.

Tasteful upmarket hotel in Central Ballarat
Pros:

Huge rooms, tastefully decorated and everything spotlessly clean. Located opposite railway station. Lola restaurant below serves up excellent food too.

Cons:

My room lacked a desk area to do a bit of work... not a big deal at all but given how large the rooms are this would add to the functionality.

we were tired and crabby from ack of sleep when we found out there was no breakfast included for us.
Pros:

The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. There were plenty of bedding options and the bed was cosy.

Cons:

We paid extra for a balcony room which I believed included breakfast…for the price you’d think it would! Not so.
We couldn’t sleep because the room was too bright from the lights from the train station across the road. Heavy curtains need to installed to block it. Or eye masks need to be provided.

Ballarat is a gold rush town with heritage appeal and this hotel is a great way to discover that.
Pros:

We chose this hotel for its heritage appeal, and it didn't disappoint.
The location in the middle of town made it easy to get out and explore.
The room was comfortable and well appointed.
Although it was a cold and rainy day, this hotel was welcoming and comfortable.
