A gorgeous hotel
Pros:

We stayed in a room upstairs. The room was beautiful, very spacious, and the hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The location was perfect.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of.

3 star not 4.5 star.
Pros:

Staff were very lovely and friendly.

Cons:

The rating online was 4.5 stars, this was the equivalent of a 3. I expected much more and the photos online were really different to how the place looked in person. Rooms weren't very clean, old and paint chipped furniture, dark and with a bit of smell.

Lovely heritage hotel
Pros:

Location great, staff all lovely and really accommodating of all requests. The heritage building is gorgeous and the decor is so tasteful and lovely.

Cons:

There is a bit of noise from the train station but it’s ok at night. It would also be good if there were blackout curtains as the room got very bright early in the morning.

Stunning decor, fabulous restaurant, beautiful room.
Pros:

The standout is the unassuming restaurant. The food was fabulous and the service exceptional. Our room was more beautiful than the photos and on a bustling weekend, I'm sure the champagne courtyard would be a wonderful way to wind down. Gorgeous decor with old world charm, but up to date facilities.

Cons:

No lift is a challenge with heavy bags. Shame the champagne courtyard wasn't open. The train noise might get a bit frustrating on a long stay, but easily negated with the free earplugs provided.
