Pros:

The food was good. Nice small room with beautiful views.

Cons:

We got there by bikes. The minute that we got to the hotel door step, one staff came dashing out chasing us to go park our bikes at the outdoor parking up the hill. First impression was disappointing. Minutes later another staff came out to tell us, we can wheel our bikes inside. Then the boss changed his mind and tell us to put our bikes in our small room. Thanks god our room have balcony!

Worth the drive when you’re in the area.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds, amazing location. Food was excellent, and the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The private onsen showed its age. Rusty rails, calcium buildup, and broken tiles. Missed opportunity to light up the garden outside the bath at night.
