Hotel Olimpo

The rooms were very basic - no tissues, no tea and coffee making facilities, no artwork. The shower head broke mid-shower and the technician wasn’t available to fix it for 2 days. Our bathroom fan didn’t work at all and the air conditioning was awful - completely useless in both rooms our family used. We had to keep our mini travel fans going all night.

There was no welcome pack or information about the hotel, which made it hard to know what was on offer, how to access facilities etc. We were confused by the lunch (1-3pm) offering - some people seemed to be eating sandwiches and small dishes, but when we went to the cafeteria, the waiter said food wasn’t available until 8pm. Just a general lack of information, particularly for non-Spanish speakers.

The terrace and pool area was not serviced by a member of staff for food or drinks. I had to make 3 trips from the bar to the terrace with drinks for my family.

Las instalaciones de piscina y baños de la misma necesitan un reestiling, aunque están bien, compartimos con una boda ( un día) y aunque iban a lo suyo se masificó el hotel

Alguna cosa de la piscina estaba vieja

No es 4 estrellas ni de lejos. Habitaciones con un mobiliario obsoleto. Armarios sin puertas. Aire acondicionado que no enfría. Cuarto de baño con mal olor. Desayuno pésimo. Instalaciones anticuadas y de baja calidad. No te avisan bien de las mareas. El primer día nos quedamos aislados. El personal de recepción sin interés alguno para resolver los problemas.

Cannot put a finger on anything. One review criticised “worn carpets on the stairs”. We have witnessed the original ones & replacements 15 years later . Carpets now removed to reveal original marble material. The hotel is part of a small chain in Spain. The staff remember us from previous visits. Hotel is genuine 4 star. I have stayed at many 4 & even 5 star hotels all over UK & Europe none can compare with Olimpo’s unique qualities.

* Odeur désagréable de canalisation dans les chambres, probablement liée à la vétusté des infrastructures.
* Hôtel affichant 4 étoiles, mais niveau de service en deçà des attentes.
* Accueil impersonnel.
* Deux chambres réservées pour une famille, attribuées à l’opposé l’une de l’autre.
* Serviettes de plage indisponibles avant le 3ᵉ jour.
* Petit-déjeuner bruyant : les serveurs circulent avec un chariot sur lequel ils empilent bruyamment la vaisselle et jettent les couverts dans un bac en plastique, ce qui nuit à l’ambiance.
* Personnel souvent débordé (présent du matin au soir), pas toujours avenant et parfois indifférent. Aucun intérêt ne nous a été témoigné quant au déroulement de notre séjour, y compris lors de notre départ.
* Insonorisation des chambres insuffisante.

Faciliteiten als sauna, fitness zijn in zeer slechte verouderde staat. Personeel in restaurant zeer onvriendelijk. Hotel is geen 4-sterrenhotel meer, renovatie/opknappen noodzakelijk!

El desayuno algo escaso y la calidad regular - bien..
El hotel tiene mucho potencial dada su ubicación respecto al mar, pero faltaría potenciarlo más...

Que la venta de productos de la huerta propia (los tomates, por cierto, excelentes) fuese media hora pasado el límite del check-out. Tendría mucha más lógica si la gente, antes de irse del hotel, pudiera adquirir algunos de estos productos y no tener que hacerlo el día antes.

Había ruido en la habitación porque teníamos las máquinas de aire acondicionado debajo. Nosotros conseguimos que nos cambiarán de habitación, pero otra familia se fue porque no pudieron cambiarla.

Mucho desnivel en el acceso a la piscina

Las cortinas de nuestra habitación sucias.
El mobiliario de la habitación para renovar.
El colchón comodisimo.
El baño está bien. Amplio ,limpio y una buena ducha.
Limpieza muy bien.
El desayuno normal . El café de las 3 cafeteras malísimo.
El personal amable y atento.
