Pros:

A wonderful little spot in the centre of town, walkable from the ferry. We enjoyed the relaxed trusting feel of owners, staff and other guests. A nice communal kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent. Everything is very well cared for. You feel immersed in the community with quirky pieces of history and collectibles around the hotel, while still having your own private experience.

My solace in time of heavy grief.
Pros:

I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. I was grieving and they took their personal time to acknowledge that and comfort and pray for me. I shall be forever grateful. Thx ever so much.
