Pros:

Location and staff were extremely nice...easy check in and out

Cons:

The pillows had a foul smell...tried spraying them with disinfectant but did not help

Decent but won’t return.
Pros:

Good location, clean, nice rooms.

Cons:

The bedding, mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. noise from air conditioner and heat unit was loud. I could hear children running upstairs above us. House keeping came early in the morning banging on the door and woke up my kids at 915 when check out wasn’t until 12.

Pros:

I like the location itself and the look of the property

Cons:

The bathroom was dirty, hair that wasn’t mine all over the tub, the bedding was stained and the extra blanket I pulled out to use was tattered and ripped and just a bath blanket. The couch that was in the room was dirty also. I also left a bag of my hair care products and they kept it and told me they didn’t have it. I’ll never stay here, and will not recommend to anyone.

Nice hotel but make sure you ask to not be on the same floor as travel teams.
Pros:

Rooms were nice. Clean. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good. Facilities in general were pleasant especially for the value.

Cons:

We (single family) were put on a floor with a block of rooms for a travel hockey team for some reason? Needless to say they were not pleasant neighbors. Finally at midnight after nearly 2 hours of kids running up and down the halls, screaming, and drunk parents doing nothing or being just as obnoxious we had enough. I tried to call the front desk but the room's phone did not work. I tried to call on my cellphone but no one answered. Finally went down to the desk itself and no one was there. After 5 or so minutes standing there someone came over from the bar and asked if I needed something. I told him the issue and he said he'd come upstairs to check. Shortly after it settled down. Absolutely miserable night of little sleep. Where the heck was the staff?

Surprisingly Excellent
Pros:

I visited the Hyatt Place Buffalo for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was very glad that I did. The property itself is excellent. It is in a great location, easy to find, plenty around it and (when there's no snow), plenty of parking.

The people working the front desk were very friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out. The lobby was very warm and inviting, especially after a long drive to get there.

The room itself was outstanding. Plenty of room, very comfortable bed, plenty of lights, blackout blinds were excellent, heat worked perfectly, bed was very comfortable and the TV had a nice variety of channels.

The bathroom was very well lit, the water pressure was excellent, hot water came quickly and there were plenty of soft towels.

If I am ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here.

Horrible service and parking
Pros:

Service is horrible. When we checked in, they told us they were sold out of our king room that we had already pre booked and paid for. They finally did find “the last one” for us after we demanded it. And the parking and valet is a joke. It’s a traffic Jam when you arrive, and it will take well over an hour to get your car back. We ended up asking for our keys and walking a very long distance to get our car back just so we could leave.
