A Cut Above The Rest
Pros:

The Hyatt is a cut above all the rest of the hotels I normally stay in. This location is exceptionally clean, professional, quiet, with wonderfully appointed rooms. The front desk staff were excellent as well. To top it off, the breakfast is amazing!! I felt noticeably relaxed and refreshed after my stay here.

Nice place
Pros:

Nice clean hotel with great staff and a very good breakfast. Close to nice restaurants. Just up for a show but I’m sure there are attractions nearby ( Niagara). I would definitely return

Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

Very nice hotel, appears to be almost new. Convenient location, near the interstate.

I asked for a quiet room, so they put me at the end of the hall. Being an end room, it had an unusual layout which I happen to like, not the standard cookie-cutter room. It also had a stall shower rather than a tub, more kudos. Basically a very nice room (#329), though there was a noisy blower motor in the wall. I mentioned it as a maintenance issue, hopefully it will be fixed.

Excellent breakfast buffet, too.

Happy to recommend.

Avoid This Location – Not Up to Hyatt Standards
Pros:

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had in a long time.

We arrived late at around 9:30 PM and were assigned Room 128, a first-floor room right beside a side entrance—high traffic, noisy, and not ideal. When I asked if a higher-floor room was available, I was told the hotel was fully booked, without any real effort to check or accommodate the request.

The room itself was clearly not ready for guests. The toilet was clogged upon arrival, and we had to call maintenance immediately. There was also a dead bug in the shower, which is simply unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. To make matters worse, the heater wasn’t working properly, leaving the room cold and uncomfortable—especially for my wife and daughter.

We’ve stayed at many Hyatt Place properties across the U.S., and they’ve always been consistent and reliable. This location, however, fell far below brand standards. Multiple issues at check-in, combined with a lack of proactive service, made this stay particularly frustrating.

This stay took away from what should have been an enjoyable trip to the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. Based on this experience, I would not return, and I would strongly recommend considering other hotels nearby.

Decent but won’t return.
Pros:

Good location, clean, nice rooms.

Cons:

The bedding, mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. noise from air conditioner and heat unit was loud. I could hear children running upstairs above us. House keeping came early in the morning banging on the door and woke up my kids at 915 when check out wasn’t until 12.

Poor
Pros:

I like the location itself and the look of the property

Cons:

The bathroom was dirty, hair that wasn’t mine all over the tub, the bedding was stained and the extra blanket I pulled out to use was tattered and ripped and just a bath blanket. The couch that was in the room was dirty also. I also left a bag of my hair care products and they kept it and told me they didn’t have it. I’ll never stay here, and will not recommend to anyone.
