Friendly staff.

Cons:

The twin bedroom had a very poor mattress with pinging springs. So I had to use the other bed which was not quite as bad. The drains had a bad smell.
Was asked to pay a dog fee at check in but I was not aware of a fee nor the amount. I was not happy to pay it.

Pros:

Staff were exellent in the bar/restaurant. Food was good, presented lovely, and very nice. Exellent value most importantly, when working away and trying to make ends meet.

Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und das Personal ist freundlich.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten und einem Elternbett. Zum Glück waren wir nur zu dritt, denn ein Einzelbett war so durchgelegen, dass man schon bei leichtem Druck mit der Hand auf die Matratze den Draht in der Matratze spürte, die müsste dringend ausgetauscht werden. Das andere Einzelbett war super weich, das Doppelbett war gut.

Der Teppich hatte an mehreren Stellen dunkle Flecken, die dunklen Möbel waren super staubig und teilweise klebrig, von der Fernbedienung möchte ich gar nicht sprechen.

Die Klobrille war nicht richtig fest, das Wasser in der Dusche/Badewanne lief nicht richtig ab, da der Abfluss verstopft war (wurde auf Nachfrage vom Personal behoben).

Welcoming staff, and a good on site bar and restaurant. The bed was so comfortable and soft large towels. On site parking.
The room had amazing views of the water and beyond to the hills.

Cons:

The rooms are very tired and need a makeover..

Viel besser als im teuren Edinburgh zu nächtigen
Pros:

Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen guten Parkplatz, nahegelegene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen eigenen Pub unten, wo Samstagabend Live-Musik gespielt wird.
Ein Dorf weiter östlich gibt's einen Farm-Shop samt Café mit richtig gutem Frühstück!

Cons:

Es war ein halbes Politikum eine zweite Bettdecke für das Doppelbett zu bekommen. Das ist sinnvoller als 4 Kissen drauf zu packen. Ich empfehle nicht den Berg runter in den Ort zu gehen, da es am Wasser eher eine seltsame Gegend ist.

De badkamer: geen verwarming, geen WC borstel, heel kleine lavabo die heel laag staat, nergens geen kapstok of handdoekhouder.

Great chatty staff. Great location in Bo’ness. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Blind fell off in first room, moved to another room. No lift, I’m disabled and they were a bit of a problem…
