Pros:

The location and access to the lake were probably my favorite party of the lodge. The lodge is right off the freeway but far enough away it feels like you're in the country. The back area is near the lake and has a private sitting area so you can watch the sunset and enjoy the night sky from your own private patio.

Cons:

Staffing hours were slim during a very busy weekend for the city. Family Weekend visitors for a nearby camp brings many visitors the same time each summer. It's predictable. The lodge responded quickly to phone calls which I appreciated but I felt like I was at a self help hotel or hostel.

Great stay
Pros:

I like the Northwoods feel cabin style of the rooms and Inn. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Location on the lake is a plus too. Make sure to contact the hotel if you want to book a pontoon, it will be brought to the hotel and picked up afterwards. Great service. Breakfast is a do it yourself, which worked for us.

Expect a mid-range motel.
Cons:

This is a motel decorated in a cabin or lodge style. Our rooms faced the parking lot; the television set was small, and the WiFi didn't work. The breakfast consists of cold items you could pick up from the freezer, a juice and coffee dispenser. There was little room to sit down. The "game room" is a finished basement. We were really surprised by the relatively high rating on Booking.

Location was wonderful.
We loved the game room set up downstairs!
Lots of great outdoor activities provided. Great for fishing off the docks. Firepit and grill provided, was a great bonus!

Cons:

The lampshades were cracked and some had holes in them the continental breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen no bread no English muffins no choice of cereal everything came out of the refrigerator that you could eat it and there was not a very large selection. no fruit, It was disgusting.

Clean, spacious room, pretty view, good location
Pros:

Didn't have breakfast, but I appreciated the coffee and juices
Convenient location for lodging. We didn't need anything more for the amount of time spent there. Large, clean rooms, decent patio with lovely view of the lake, walking distance to 2 restaurants , ice cream, music, great place to go after a busy day
