The coffee maker did not work the phone did not work in the pull-out couch was terrible to sleep on
The suite was very clean and I had requested extra towels before my visit and they accommodated
The property was very nice and it was very clean and I love the different activities with the swimming basketball etc
What I did not like is how I was treated by the staff and I also didn't like the fact that I reserved to have two children and two adults in the room and there was only one set for one person and I was advised that I could not get any additional tiles unless I brought the dirty towels to the desk and I also was told that I could not get towels until the next day which means we could not experience getting in the pool or Darrell pool because we have to use the towels that we had actually share them I also did not like how I was being looked at I don't know for what reason so I was uncomfortable eating the complimentary breakfast due to the staff the stairs from the other people that was staying there so my overall experience was not a good experience for me or my children and for the staff to also get smart when you ask a question they get smart mouth with you I didn't like that either

The location was great just up the road from Indiana Beach
You could hear the people on the floor above you running and slamming doors and the music in the lobby through the wall in our room and the pool was really cold

We did not eat breakfast. Went out. Normally would have and it is good.
Gym was closed.
The pool area needs maintenance. Plaster is falling from the walls and ceiling needs major repairing , there is mold on the walls, and broken chairs .Signs should be posted near broken areas until repairs can be made. I also had to clean my own bathroom. On a positive note, the weight room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the TV had a lot of channels.
waws double charged - paid via booking.com and young lady at desk verified and still best western charged me for the same night as well - both say the other is responsible for refunding payment but neither have, just keep passing it on - never use either again nor will the company i work for after they found out.
not being double charged would have been a start, wifi was crap as well - very slow and not very useful.

Booked the hotel as part of our family vacation and specifically booked THIS hotel for the pool and hot tub - could’ve stayed closer to my destination, but wanted those facilities. When we got there, the pool and hot tub were out of order. The desk guy got snippy with me when I asked him how long it had been non functional! I reached out to booking.com who reached out to the property and they refused to do anything. Honestly, all I wanted was an email letting me know, so I could make the decision to switch hotels if I wanted-I paid extra to have the cancellation option. Guess I have to call all my hotels before leaving to see if pool facilities are available from now on!😡
