Best Western Plus River Escape Inn & Suites

Comfortable bed

I booked a king bed suite. When we checked in the first room we were given was currently occupiers by a guest. We went to the front desk and explained what happened and were given another room. The second room we were given was again occupied by another guest. We were then told the only room that was left was a queen bed room so we were unable to get the room that we paid for. The room had bugs crawling around the inside of the window. Would not recommend and would not stay here again.

Property was remote. That was the appeal. The 2nd floor and room Iwas in had had some water damage and leaking that really bothered my allergies. I woke up stuffy and the carpet fresh used in the hallway was overwhelming.

Could not see through the glass back door, needs replaced. Hot tub in room, (on) button damaged. Shower curtain too long and was a hazard. Shower leaking. Bed was hard as a rock. Breakfast was terrible, we could not eat it.

Amazing !!!! Perfect place for a relaxing family trip. The view of the river from the balcony and the outdoor lounge area was beautiful. Employees were friendly and hotel was clean and very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Gorgeous Views of the River

It started out great—Adirondack chairs facing the river, fire pit, indoor pool and hot tub. However… it wasn’t with it.

One, they didn’t allow early check-in despite almost no cars in parking lot. Two, it’s a pricey place compared to other options in the area. Three, and by far the worst part, is that after asking if I could checkout at noon, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:30.

That might not seem like a big deal. These things happen. I was irritated but let it go. Yet I asked myself, “Why would housekeeping knock that early? I have never seen that before, even if checking out at 11.”

I told him that I had late checkout. He said sorry and walked away. I dozed off to sleep (got in at 4 am from poker at Cherokee).

At 9:57, he knocked again. After I dozed off. What! Now I was angry and called front desk. They said they would handle it. I dozed off and a woman knocked at 10:50.

When it comes to service and housekeeping, they are absolutely clueless. You will NOT sleep if you stay here! To make it even worse…

The girl at the front desk said she would call me after talking to manager. I never received that phone call. The place looks nice but it’s expensive and they have the worst service I have seen in the area. And the hot rub is lukewarm.

Loved the balcony over the river. beds excellent comfort and clean. The staff was great. It listed a jet tub and it wasn't however we didn't care.. everything else was perfect. We look forward to a return trip...

We love staying here, we go out on the porch to watch the river rolling by. It's a quite stay with a great breakfast.

It was secluded away from everything. Nice river running behind it. It has a really good continental breakfast. Clean maybe a bit over priced maybe 125.00- 150.00 a nite nice. And the staff was awesome.

Love this place, mainly because of the river. Clean and nice.

Limited park, but nice & clean facility. Kids loved the pool & we enjoyed watching the peaceful river.

Great location and view- staff very friendly and breakfast both days was great.

The property itself is fabulous, so beautiful with the river. Perfect for a relaxing stay, while the staff are polite, they seemed bored and not talkative. The property would be 5 star with more attention to customer service and being personable with guests. The food is okay but the woman working was very welcoming.
