That I got to leave
This place is not run with any sense of hospitality. The owner/manager openly seems to hate his job, his staff, and the guests. It shows everywhere.
When we asked where we could go for breakfast instead of eating the hotel breakfast, he literally said: “I don’t eat that shit either.” That pretty much tells you everything about how the place is run. If the person running the hotel admits the food is bad, that’s a serious problem.
The conditions were honestly gross. The milk at breakfast was sour. I poured it on my Cheerios and had to spit it out immediately. Absolutely disgusting.
The rooms were not maintained at all.
• The toilet was broken.
• There’s barely any light in the rooms.
• The mirrors looked like they had been “fixed” with Sharpie.
• The washcloths were yellow and looked old and dirty.
• The luggage trolley didn’t even work.
My friend tried to shower and said it was terrible, and honestly the bathroom felt so unclean I didn’t even want to attempt it.
The whole place feels neglected. There’s clearly no maintenance and no care put into the property. More than that, it feels like the people running it simply don’t care. Hotels only work when someone takes pride in the place and in the people staying there. That is not happening here.
Overall the experience was gross, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I would absolutely not stay here again.
Close to family events
Starting to look old. A remodel would be nice
The location is great to visit our family. John the afternoon clerk is really nice and engages in conversation.
The day time clerk is nasty and the owner said a lot of people complain about him but he is old so I dou t anything will change. We are thi king of driving into the quad cities for the next visit just to avoid him. Every time we go we have to deal with him
Staff was fine.
Strong odor in hallway, weak coffee and no cream, no bar soap and no conditioner.
Location
Rooms smelled of smoke. First room was dirty. Had difficulty getting out of room because the BROKEN DOOR HANDLE WAS LAYING ON THE SINK! You read correctly, the broken door handle was left laying on the counter. Obviously staff was aware as the bed was made.
Our room was a suite. One bed we had to take the top sheet off it as it looked like someone blew their nose on it. There were dead bugs in the livingroom area, and our room had a horrible smell. It was either a chemical from flooring being redone or very strong bug killer. I was charged 3 times for two rooms we only stayed a night in. I spoke with the front desk that night, the next morning after we left and even called corporate. There were 5 people in the suite and we all woke up with headaches and sore throats. They had no other rooms to move us too and the other hotels around were sold out as well. Very bad experience!!
Location to family
Cleanliness, hotel is very tired, coffee maker didnt work for 3 days of our stay, DISH tv didnt work part of the time, werent prompt on cleaning the room
The hotel is clean.
The microwave didn't work and the fridge only kept the contents cool.
Great location.
The whole hotel smelled musty. The room itself smelled like mold. The blanket had food stains. I honestly expected better for $135 a night.
Nice and comfortable place.
I liked that the guy that handled my check in took care of all of the issues we ran across. I called to confirm my early check in like 4 times at least and thank goodness I called the day I was due to check in because even though I was reassured every time it would be fine it was not my room was not ready. Bless that sweet man in the glasses who saved my day 🙏 made this trip so great it was my cousins wedding and I was stressed
That the manager confirmed i would have early check in and it wasn't ready
Nice breakfast. Great coffee maker. Espresso, cafe mochas, etc.
Very nice
it is a well run property
