Same food every day, layout difficult to maneuver around tables.
Air conditioner smelled moldy.
We liked that the hotel was close to the StarTrek Museum and it did have a good shower which is always a plus.
We didn’t like that the room smelled musty and felt damp. There was an opened and half drank can of Coke left on the floor between the bed and nightstand from a previous guest which was kinda gross to find. We felt the hotel was way overpriced at $380 per night.
The location was easy to get to and near local attractions.
Our room was a bit dated but was clean. It did have a smell of sausage though.
B'fasr OK. On the 2nd day, the scrambled eggs were burnt and not edible. They were not replaced.
Dinner - service was terrible, very slow. Our dinner took almost 2 hrs. 3 other tables left without eating.
The breakfast was average
More coffe it was out when we got to it it was out of eggs better attention should have been to it.
The bed was too hard !
Big room spertae bedroom. 2 Tv's
central air did not work was 74 and we set it to 65 nad nebver chnaged.small window unit in redroom worked.
Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.
The booking stated 2 bedrooms, 1 king bed, 1 queen, and 1 fold out couch. In actuality it was 1 bedroom (king) and a fold out couch in the other room. Very deceptive. Staff stated it was booking.coms fault and they knew and haven't fixed it. Also the hot tub did not work and the key cards did not work to go to the pool. You had to go to desk and have a staff member let you into the pool (not very convenient). Also the bedroom door and bathroom doors in our room did not latch, so if you someone walked by the closed door it would swing open.
Was a quiet hotel . The breakfast was excellent.
There was a yellow stain on one of the bed sheets. The shades were not dark very light in the room, windows fogged over from moisture could not see outside
Convenient. The property itself is fairly well maintained. Housekeeping definitely needs better standards.
The upholstery in our suite was VERY dirty. Gross. Room was not vacuumed.
The breakfast was ok but seemed a bit haphazard; very salty and watery scrambled eggs the first day, and scorched dry eggs the second day. Couldn't find a person to ask for the hot water for tea and oatmeal. The only time we saw a person is when it was time to close out breakfast.
The housekeeping woman, who was off cleaning rooms, was running back and forth to also take care of both the desk and close out breakfast. Poor thing. Hope she's paid well...
They had availability on a busy weekend.
It was expensive. That said, it was the 4th of July weekend and in a small town with Revolutionary War reenactments. So, not too surprising.
But what _was_ surprising was the shody wifi. The signal strength was good, but the connection to the Internet dropped so much it was unusable. When it did work, we only got 7MB down. To make matters worse, Verizon just sucks at this location, so, we couldn't hotspot ourselves.
Location, location, location!
The price was excessive for location and time of year.
Restaurant had very good food.
Heated pools are never heated enough at all the best westerns that I have stayed at.
Not a lot, apart from being in a quiet area and had an amazing drive along Lake George on the 9N to get there.
We checked in to find the pull out sofa bed had not been made up for our children. Some bedding was thrust into my wife’s hands and she was told to make up the bed herself. The room was dirty and felt unclean.
The breakfast isn’t worth writing about.
The hotel is tired and in great need of a major refurbishment.
Decent breakfast. Able to checkin upon early arrival.
I booked a 2 bedroom suite(two queens)only to find out that meant a one bedroom with a king and a pull out couch in the sitting area. I was disappointed to be charged for a 2 bedroom and not receive what I booked. I was told by front desk they do not have 2 bedroom rooms there. Also, the hotel was basically empty the night we stayed and they put people in room opposite us and they were extremely noisy in the hallway thru the paper thin walls.
