Pros:

The whole place reeked of weed. The room wasn’t really clean. The kitchen downstairs was not clean. The elevator wasn’t working.

Book somewhere else. Save yourself the time and hassle.

Awful! The hotel smelled so strongly it gave us headaches almost immediately. After checking in and walking into the room, it noticed it was unclean. We asked to cancel and be refunded. They offered us to check another room, also not clean. The desk clerk said we should get a refund once the manager accepts it. We'll, he hasn't. Our travel agents have contacted them to try to receive a refund, they refuse. I called back this morning and was hung up on since he told me he, "I won't refund you". Absolutely unacceptable business practices.

The hotel smelled horrible! The rooms are very outdated and the floors to the elevator were in horrible condition I almost tripped on them. When I tried to put the magnetic “Privacy” sign on the outside of my door the paint peeled off of the door with the magnet. They attempted to charge me twice for the room I had to show them my bank account where they already charged me.

Pros:

Took forever to check in. The room was dirty. The whole olace was dirty. The beds not comfortable. Breakfast was terrible. Wint stay again.

Water damage to halls, floor boards buckled, door to bathroom did not close, strong scent (cinnamon?) used to cover up water damage smell. TV in bedroom did not work but TV in sitting room did. No plug for bathtub. Staff could not be found for check out, but this was seen in other hotels at this time, too. Pool looked nice but did not try. Breakfast was minimal.

Very misleading pictures. It smelled terrible. The bathroom was ripped and hanging from the wall and was broke in half. There was a leak at the window and water was everywhere. There was hair all over the floor, bedding and everything. Cigarette ashes in the bathroom. TERRIBLE and GROSS

The couch in the room reeked of pee. The bathroom door wouldn’t close because it had been kicked in. There were stray hairs all over the place. Visibly dirty in spots. The refrigerator didn’t work. The towel we were given to use at the pool was visibly stained. Told the front desk and he just nodded. Would not recommend. Especially room 215.

Check in was a nightmare. First couldn’t find reservation even though I showed it on my phone. Female who was checking me in seemed unsure of what she was doing. I’d reserved 2 rooms. I was charged got one, then the other. After second time running my card, dhe told me that transaction didn’t go through and was cancelled. I would have up run my card a third time. I refused until I checked bank accounts that showed 2 charges. She then said “oh I see that payments were completed. She had to call her husband, I guess, to complete the booking. He was very professional and completed reservation quickly.
The floors in hallways in front of room were buckled almost causing my daughter and I to trip and fall. Hole in the side of tub in room 101 and paint chipping around bathroom door. Hotel has changed to RedRoof Inn since the last time I was in Clinton. Nothing has changed but the name. I was reminded why my family stopped staying here several trips ago. The bees were comfortable although I didn’t sleep well due to construction workers in room above being loud most of the night. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.

Overall good value for the price. Picked this because it was pet friendly. Clean and most of it newly renovated but minor issues with some of the items. Very basic breakfast items. There is one restaurant within walking distance and a gas station. Has electronic keycard. Entry is monitored via ring camera. Was able to check in quickly when arriving very late at night.

the room was in need of repair (cracked flooring, bed mattress was real spongy like it was old springs, the fold out bed had no mattress, the fan in the bathroom shook the ceiling and was really loud, the tub leaked around the sides when it was on and it wasn't leaking around the curtain it leaked through the caulking on the side of the tub.

They didn't even check my ID when I checked in. The room was dirty, the toilet was disgusting, there was obviously water damage, and the tiles had been broken and not replaced but poorly repaired.

Had it not been so late at night and had I not been traveling with my kids and a dog, I would have asked for a refund and found another place to stay.

The smell of the air fresher or something when you walk in, is strong, it like mixed up perfume with the smell of smoke. It’s bad. Plus, they kept charging my card multiple times, and call the toll around, 6 saying my card is declined and I need you to unlock it. My bank disrupted the charge bc it say something about fraud is detected. But, the room, was alright it just it not clean. Plus, they need new flooring or something, the floor to soft. Overall the experience was good, me and my friends will not be bad here.
