The photos on hotels.com does not have anything to do with the hotel itself. They are completely selling something else when you arrive there. It is because the former owner of the hotel used to have 2 hotels and uploaded the photos from the other hotel of himself. This is called cheating in everywhere.

Tam in Turkish means perfect. From the price to the location, I would say it was definitely perfect for me. Price: This hotel is worth way more than I paid for it. It has a comfortable bed, private shower (and a good one too), pleasant staff (who speak English well), operable windows, etc. Location: it's on a real city street, near Taksim and Istiklal, but you're not surrounded by tourists. I was there for 7 nights and it became home to me.

I enjoyed my stay very much. And will stay there on my next trip. Very lovely bed and breakfast style hotel, clean, beautiful, comfortable, secure, in the middle of everything, a few minutes walk from shopping and restaurants of busy Taksim. The room is nicely decorated with a large very comfortable bed, little table, large screen TV, closet, a nice bathroom with a lovely shower. As long as it is an old style building, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs (but there re only a few rooms, so I barely heard anyone) or if it's a construction or cleaning in a next room. So, if you are sensitive to loud sounds, that might be a minus, didn't bother me though. It's a very private hotel and very safe to walk around and back in at any time, this part of the city never sleeps. The owner is incredibly warm and very helpful like all Turkish people. He is proud of his city and ready to help always. In the room they prepare for you a map and two books about Istanbul. Very caring. The place is top quality and very affordable. My experience was incredible!

Das Hotel besteht aus Apartments, die in drei dicht benachbarten Gebäuden sind.

Der Service war sehr freundlich, die Räumlichkeiten sauber. Bei der Ausstattung waren Gebrauchsspuren, wie z.B. ein defekter Türgriff oder kaputte Lichtschalter. Sonst alles ok.

Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß den Taksim Platz.

Wenn man eine nicht zu laute und für nicht ortskundige sichere Region bevorzugt, sollte man sich nicht für dieses Objekt entscheiden. Die dunklen Gassen könnten einen einschüchtern. Wir (2 Frauen, 28 und 38) waren aber ganz zufrieden. Allerdings beherrschen wir Deutsch, Türkisch und Englisch und kannten uns schon etwas aus.

Falls man einen schönen Ausblick oder viel Natur im Umfeld erwartet, ist die Location die falsche. Die City ist eher sehr dicht besiedelt, enge Straßen und Gassen, viele Bauten.

Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistunsverhältnis ganz ok.

Service war nicht so gut wir haben 3 Tage gebraucht bis wir den richtigen W-lan Code bekommen haben

Roof top en plein Taksim. Très belle vue. Literie confortable.

Stayed in a studio. Large room with a powerful shower. Very basic but clean. The biggest disappointment was the wifi which was very hit and miss, mostly a miss. The room wasn't cleaned one day and not until 5.30pm another day.

The owner is a lovely man who is very friendly and helpful.

Everthing is Great in this hotel especially Ahmet & Sasha (hope i get his name right) are soooooo helpful. Already booked our stayed with them on the way back to Istanbul from Bodrum!

rooms on expedia say 1-4 guest then they try to charge you for each guest individualluy

I stayed at the roof room of east n' cool- building of the hotel, which I would highly recommend. Çan, who showed us up to the room was very helpful. The room was clean and tidy just as in the photos. Luckily, we had great weather during our stay and could use the lovely balcony in the morning and nights. The only bad thing was the weak wifi in our room. However, we were only in the hotel room during nights and the lobby wifi was quite good so that worked for us. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay near Taksim which is open almost 24h, and is pretty near the other tourist places.
