It was a nice hotel, with friendly staff, but not worth over $400.00/night
Pros:

The room was clean and the staff was friendly
The breakfast was good, the little breakfast area was cozy

Cons:

Location, we had our dog, there are no sidewalks out front, I did find a trail out back but that was just by luck
The bathroom layout was not user friendly, and especially no hooks or towel bars to hang damp towels, etc
And I’m really disappointed in the price we paid for what we received, I expected more than a standard motel room for the price we paid for 4 nights

Would go back there again
Pros:

I loved the boutique vintage style of the hotel , super clean, freshly renovated and painted , no carpets in the room , just wood or wood like floors , bedding and towels smelled clean . Loved the breakfast, high quality and omelets were freshly made , 5 minute ride from the beach and courthouse square , it’s located in a quite area surrounded by greenery

The rooms were very nice and bed was comfortable

Cons:

The price we paid for one night was a bit crazy. I didn’t like that you could barley see the maitland river but in pics when booking it shows differently

Breakfast was great, my favourite part. Quaint and friendly environment.

Cons:

Front facing room!
Very little view of Maitland river even from the back facing rooms. With the view and walking trails being further away than expected the hotel was overpriced.
