What a beautiful place, did not disappoint in any way. We booked a night here at the end of a two week Scottish tour, so it was hotel number 8, and it was the cherry on the cake. We were by Mike, a kilt clad concierge with a warm, welcoming smile. A tour of the castle later and he whipped our luggage to our room which was just lovely. Very clean, quiet and comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep.
Bar area and restaurant very comfortable with a gorgeous loch view, and the food was delicious.
Every member of staff was polite, friendly and lovely.
Little touches like Tunnocks teacakes and caramel wafers in the room, to an umbrella painted inside with an image of the castle, to shortbread on leaving, made this a wonderfully special experience.
Nothing - it was just as special as we hoped it would be and I would stay again in an instant. An absolute treat.

Historic building set within a stunning location .
Fantastic welcome from Dave with castle tour and welcome dram.
Castle room very comfortable and spacious.
Food was excellent at dinner and breakfast, although we were charged extra for tea and coffee at breakfast?
The attitude of the reception staff at checkout was poor. Not only were we charged for another guests bill, they tried to bill us again for dinner. When I explained that we had paid for dinner separately we were met with disbelief. There was no apology for their errors, or how we had been made to feel. Although the dinner bill was resolved , this has left a rather sour note on what would of otherwise been a perfect celebration weekend.
Exceptional customer service
Beautiful setting, the views are brilliant and the Scottish concierge davie was a credit to this hotel.
Phoned ahead to inform the hotel that this was the start of our honeymoon, I'm not expecting freebies, but a 5 star hotel with the price tag you would expect more done to make it special, other than a card in the room there was nothing. Found a used cigarette end in our room, mould on the bathroom windows, stains and marks over numerous furniture, this is not a 5 star hotel, the price being charged is not worth the money, plenty other proper 5 star hotels around Scotland that put this one to shame. The prices of drinks in the bar are eye watering to say the least
Le lieu est exceptionnel!
Rien

Breakfast good and location superb
The food at dinner time in the venues restaurant did not meet my expectations and was underwhelming.
Absolutely fantastic, great facilities, lovely surroundings.
Scenery was beautiful even if the weather was miserable
