Andril Fireplace Cottages

We stayed three nights in January 2026. We booked a suite cottage because we have a toddler and wanted a separate living area and bedroom. The cottage was so lovely and spacious. The kitchen is decently outfitted. We lit the fireplace every day and it was so cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom got very dark - we slept great. There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the Pack and Play. Our cottage had two bathrooms which was nice when our friends (staying in another cottage) came over. The adults were able to stay up and play games in the common area after the kiddo went to sleep in the bedroom. The grab and go breakfast was actually very good, there were lots of options and we all got enough to eat. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked nice! The cottages are located right next to Asilomar in PG. It was an easy drive to downtown PG and to Monterey, and a super easy drive to the Spanish Bay golf course and Sticks restaurant. Our stay was lovely and we can't wait to return.

Friendly staff great location incredibly quiet, incredibly clean

These cabins were GORGEOUS! We originally rented a 2 bd/2 bath cottage, however due to the recent storms, we were upgraded to the 5 bd/2.5 bath cottage at no extra charge and boy were we happily surprised!! It had room for at least 10 people if needed, with a huge backyard (ping pong table included), and the kitchen and living room were comfortable and HUGE. This cottage (Rancho Reposo) even had its own private parking that included 4 parking spaces in a gated area. In addition, Carrie was so nice to us - her customer service was excellent. And her little dog Orion was as welcoming, too. The staff here try to make your stay so comfortable by providing free breakfast and maintaining the cabin’s wood supply. The cabins were CLEAN and well taken care of. I’d definitely stay here again! Thank you Andril Staff!

Amazing Family & Staff at Andril Fireside Cottages
For many years, our family has made it a tradition to reserve Rancho Reposo at Andril Fireside Cottages in Pacific Grove over Christmas. This beautiful five-bedroom home is perfect for accommodating our extended family and creates a truly special place to celebrate the holidays together.
Kevin and Victor, the family owners, consistently go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Over the years, they’ve helped us find a Christmas tree and even played Santa for our youngest children. This year, however, they truly exceeded all expectations. During a power outage on Christmas Eve (2025), Kevin generously lent us his personal generator for several hours so we could cook our turkey and prime rib. Just before Santa (Victor!) was scheduled to arrive, a true Christmas miracle happened—the power came back on to our side of the complex.
Andril Fireside Cottages is more than just a beautiful location near Asilomar Beach—it’s a place run by an incredibly caring family who treats their guests like their own. We wholeheartedly recommend Andril Fireside Cottages to anyone looking for a memorable stay with exceptional hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend staying at Andril Fireplace Cottages in PG. My parents used to come here in the early 1960’s when they were first married and soon after the Smith family’s first generation took over from Mr. Andril. So for Mom’s 85th bday I splurged on a 4-day reservation for one of the 2 queen bed units, not quite knowing what to expect since they’d never taken us kids.

The 2nd and 3rd generations of Smiths and their team (hi Carrie!) offer an idyllic opportunity to enjoy modern amenities nestled in a bit of rustic charm, the privacy of your own cottage and also the most friendly and helpful front desk, all within a neighborhood of about 15-20 cottages. We enjoyed the fact that other people brought their dogs and that there’s a big communal grassy area for them to run around in, while also having our own private (fenced) outdoor patio. The location is about three driveways down from Asilomar which makes a walk to the beach (and a stop at the Asilomar lodge for a fancy coffee or game of pool) so convenient.

There are units that can accommodate larger groups and I’m already talking my girlfriends into staying with the Smiths on our next getaway. Looks like I’m following my family’s tradition of equating great memories of Pacific Grove with the comforts and charm of Andril’s!

Perfect location. Very clean. So nice to have a fireplace with wood provided and restocked daily. Grab and go snacks for free in the lobby was so convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice quick walk to the beach.

We just spent 3 nights here in a king bedroom with kitchen . The place was perfect for my husband and me and our small dog. There is a grassy area to walk your dog and there is a private patio attached to the units. We used the charcoal BBQ provided on the patio one night. The hot tub is very nice to use and the proximity to the beach is ideal. We used the nice fireplace in the unit also. The unit was very clean upon arrival. Having the kitchen is a huge plus as we like to prepare some meals ourselves. The check in with Annabel was terrific. Very friendly and accommodated us checking in a little early. All in all we loved it here and hope to return on a future visit to the beautiful area. 👍🏻😀
