Cheap digs. OK value for the money. Be prepared tp walk for a restaurant.

Front desk was very helpful despite language barrier. Room was very small, but clean. The hotel has seen better days. The immediate area was on the seedy side. Parking right outside the hotel was a plus. Breakfast was typical continental fare. No restaurant at the Virgilio and the restaurant next door did not open until later in pm. Ok value for the money. Terrace was closed. Very limited bar service.

One of the worst Euro to value places. I’m not sure why Taranto was expensive. Not worth a trip..
