Beachfront Hotel La Palapa - Adults Only

Prachtig hotel op een super locatie. Direct aan het privé strand. Heerlijke keuken, vriendelijk personeel.

This was an amazing resort right in the heart of town on the beach. No need to have to take a taxi to go eat. Just take a walk. The beach is not big but it’s enough. It never got crowded. There was never any seaweed. And we came from Tulum where you couldn’t even walk in the water because there was so much there. They don’t blast music so that you can relax. We booked a double queen balcony room that has a hammock on the balcony. Which is on the second floor and it was facing the ocean pretty much in the middle of the building. We had an amazing ocean view. There are no TVs here just FYI if you really have to watch TV bring your iPad or computer. There’s a mini fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The only thing is because it’s so hot and humid right now the AC is above the front door so the cold air does not push all the way back to the end of the room where the beds are so easily. It will definitely help cool the room down, but it can be a little warm at night. They do have two fans in the ceiling above each bed that do help. I would say that was the only negative in the entire experience at this hotel. You get a great breakfast each morning that has eggs and whatever else you want bacon or sausage or ham or veggie or avocado toast lots of different choices on the menu. The coffee was actually very tasty and it also comes with a juice that’s made special each morning the last morning ours was pear juice. It’s nice because the restaurant is literally on the beach facing the water. The hotel staff was always very accommodating and friendly and they’re always raking the sand around the property so it looks really nice when you walk around. Yes you can hear the music from the nearby club at night, but it’s not obnoxious and if it really bothers you, they also Supply earplugs in the room. We did not need to use them because it wasn’t that bad and normally we are affected by noise when we’re trying to sleep.

We loved the room, the location and staff were very helpful, also food was really good.

Rooms are big and clean.

We read that the beach was small and during high season there is not enough place for everyone, but we were lucky since hotel was not fully booked and so we always got the place in the restaurant as on the beach.

The beachfront view was unmatched. The hotel is located close to everything. The staff works around the clock nonstop making sure the hotel is clean and presentable. Catching a sunset in the water was amazing. Huge thank you to the staff.

Pousada sensacional, com espreguiçadeiras na praia, perto de tudo! Quarto bem espaçoso com cama grande e confortável! O café da manhã é delicioso, no restaurante com uma vista linda para mar. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e prestativos. Na recepção tem filtro com água gelada e gratuita.

Geweldig ligging. Heerlijk ontbijt. Super vriendelijk mensen aan de bar en bij de receptie. Heerlijke strandbedjes. Alles op loopafstand. Gewoon een heerlijk verblijf!

Buena playa , buena cocina con opciones limitadas

Very bad hotel. The bathroom had a horrible smell, the room was not clean, and the beach water was dirty compared to other hotels in the area. Honestly, I do not recommend anyone to stay there. I paid for three nights and left on the second night to another hotel. The only good thing was the view.

Just perfect!

Als ik hoger kon geven dan een 10, had ik het gedaan. Dit hotel is FANTASTISCH. Het personeel is super vriendelijk, de locatie is geweldig (midden in het centrum van Holbox) maar wij hebben het allermeest genoten van het privéstrand recht voor de deur. Je zet 1 stap buiten je kamer en je bent al op het strand. Alles wordt super goed bijgehouden, de hele dag door zijn er mensen het zand aan het harken of wier aan het weghalen. We hebben vanaf ons strandbedje zelfs dolfijnen en overvliegende flamingo’s gezien. De drankjes en de lunch die ze serveren zijn heerlijk. Het gratis ontbijt (ook aan het strand) is eveneens fantastisch.
Het bed lag super fijn en de kamer werd iedere dag heel netjes schoongemaakt. We waren hier 5 nachten maar hadden echt nog heel veel langer kunnen blijven. Ik zou direct teruggaan!

Super lage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schöner Strandabschnitt, Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Würden sofort wieder kommen!
