Dalat Green City Hotel

People beware!!! The picture you see is not what it is. The lobby is a coffee shop that plays very loud music the whole day. Staff does not speak English. I do not consider this a hotel. Does not look like they are washing their linens and towels. Dirty linens, dirty towels, blankets are broken and they didn't even bother to fix, room is suffocating that other guests are opening the doors of their unit just to have air circulation, children running in the corridors, moldy walls, stinky room - smell of cigarette smoke. I decided to move out after seeing this. I do not know how Expedia have this kind of affiliate hotel. I don't think they check these hotels before accepting them as their affiliate. Expedia's reputation has been ruined by these hotels. So BEWARE!!!

Supposed to be in Dalat green hotel but instead checked in Mimosa hotel (no more rooms in Dalat green). Hotel is okay. Rooms are tidy. Staff is friendly.

We booked and paid for a room in Dalat Green City hotel one month before the trip. But when we arrived, we were told there was no room and there was no apologies! Unfortunately, almost all hotels were full in Dalat during this Vietnamese new year. The only room available in hotels.ca would cost more than 1300 CAN$ for that night! In the end, We had to take taxi to a remote place and stayed in a dorm for that night.

Green Hotel was nothing like it was pictured online. Staff was nice and tried to be accommodating. In the pictures it shows the check-in area to have places to sit, lounge & perhaps have coffee. Reality is it’s a storefront selling coats and sweaters. My room had a big old box TV and the headboard hit the wall every time I moved. This section of town is very loud and noisy. There is no elevator so be prepared to schlep your luggage up-and-down narrow flights of stairs. There were good restaurants within walking distance, and if karaoke is your thing, there was a couple places nearby.

For the money you pay I don’t think you can get better than the green city. The staff are really helpfull and you can even rent a motorcycle to go to all the attractions by yourself.

L'odeur de moisissure dans la chambre et l'ambiance sombre m'ont donné une mauvaise première impression. La salle de bain laissait aussi à désirée: petite, le pommeau de douche est directement au centre et arrose constamment la toilette. L'accueil que nous avons eu a été très ordinaire, le pire de notre séjour au Vietnam. Peut-être causé par la gène de la jeune réceptionniste. Je n'y retournerai pas et je ne conseille pas cet établissement.

Got to hotel told they where sold out but they were upgrading us to a 4 star hotel went out to it no aircon or fan shared bathroom dirty and full of mosquitos so could not stay thete how do o get a refund

After having changed my room as the first room I got was extremely loud, my stay was all right. The location is good. However, try to get a room not facing the street!

Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating.I stayed for four nights and I had a good sleep on the bed with nice warm blanket. I am paying a low daily rate,so I don't expect a 4 stars room as long as I am comfortable in the room.

Budget hotel with very little to offer. Cheap but you can do a lot better even in this price bracket.

The hotel was alright, room and bathroom quite small but we kind of expected it from the pictures. We only booked for one night, then as soon as we arrived we decided to stay one more day in Dalat and asked if we could extend our stay. The lady at the reception insisted that there were no more rooms available, while I could see online on several booking websites that there were still 2! She refused to let us stay, which I really don't understand. Apart from that the best thing about this hotel is the mattress, it's the memory foam type and it's super comfortable. Hadn't slept that well in a long time!

Close enough to the market and the lake, a nice walk to both. Good family room, 2 large beds. Nice hotel for the money, friendly staff, big lobby.
