Noisy
Pros:

The hotel looks great and the cleaning is great, but the noise, especially parties being held at night by hotel guests gave me and my 7 year old many sleepless nights. We returned to the US with significant sleep deprivation. I did complain to the owner who resided at the hotel, and did call security numerous times, but that did not seem to help.

Wifi access was an issue also.

Wonderful stay at Dynasty
Pros:

Thanks to the staff at Dynasty our stay was wonderful. From the free upgrade to the delicious breakfast catered by Dijon Lloyd prepared right in our room. The grounds were beautiful as was the room. Can’t wait to return and dine at the hotel restaurant, which is currently under construction, and will be run by Dijon herself.

Secure Sandton Lodging
Pros:

Hotel Review: SECURE is the first word that comes to mind. It was a gift and a curse. There was a security guard to enter the neighborhood where my Uber had to get his Driver’s License and vehicle registration scanned. Then there was another guard shack that had to let you in the gate at the actual property. So safety was definitely not a concern. The security guard at the guard shack was extremely nice. He took my bags from my Uber driver and told him it was his job to worry about my bags. LOL Check-In was easy and the lady that checked me in was really personable. It is a cute little complex. I had the pool area all to myself on Wednesday and it was a nice relaxing way to spend the day doing nothing. My room had all the necessary amenities and it had a kitchenette. I thought I had a one bedroom apartment but apparently my booking thru hotels.com was a hotel room style but it did have a cooktop, sink and microwave. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The desk chair cushion had some stains on it that I didn't want to think about what they may be so I just took the cushion off the chair. The ironing board cover was filthy. They either need to replace it or wash it. At night there were people who liked to have conversations in the corridor. I didn't notice when the TV was on but when my room was quite it was a bit annoying. I had a good stay and I would stay there again in spite of the evening noise and sub par housekeeping.

Just an isolated OKAY place
Pros:

This isn't really a hotel. It's moreso a retreat center. Check in involved a lot of paperwork. The room itself was just all around ok. The walls are pretty thin so you hear toilets flushing from other rooms. No onsite eatery or anything within walking distance. Staff was nice and friendly, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend to others because of the isolated location & lack of a wow factor during my stay.

Candid comments
Pros:

The location was very convenient regarding what I needed to do and where I did it. However, was disappointing was the noise, on two of the five nights I was there, between midnight and 1.30 in the morning. It came from rooms above my floor, raising questions on the client base. The design and metallic stairs turns the 'quad' into an echo chamber. The other major flaw for me was the persistent smell of mould in the bathroom, as I am asthmatic. This suggests that there are major plumbing issues. I was disappointed that there was no space for a chair and a desk in the room, a major drawback, professionally! The staff were efficient and pleasant. But the plastic chairs in the reception should be canned, along with the table. They suggest poor taste in what is an upmarket establishment!

Great hotel in quiet location
Pros:

Lovely, clean and modern hotel. Small gym and pool and my room was very spacious and well equipped. Lovely area which is completely quite and peaceful. However, it is also very remote so I would not recommend staying there without means of transportation.I did not have a car and had to resort to using taxi to go everywhere as public transportation is very poor. But definitely recommended if you want to relax and get some good sleep after a busy day.

Pros:

The hotel was conveniently situated & the room was small but adequate. It was a self-catering room so no hotel service really required.
However attention needs to be paid to the detail: A flickering light on the patio (despite it being off); tea bags not wrapped (so will go stale); no milk for tea only Cremora; 2 hard pillows/1 fine/1 lumpy! and 1-ply toilet paper - seriously??
Hopefully my criticism will be heeded - it could be a great place...

Security, privacy and comfort in Sandton
Pros:

We stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, on the ground floor, with a lovely varanda and garden. Plenty of space, serenity and comfort at a secluded neighborhood, accessed through a road checkpoint. Yet, just a few minutes away from Sandton City Mall by car. The property seems to operate mainly for long-term stays, and the spaces are well-planned, so we didn´t really see any of the other tenants. Free wifi provided. Fully recommended.
