The location is close to town

Cons:

In general it is very outdated with the lobby and carpeting. The caulk was separated on the sink. The worst part is my room was damp and musty. Smelled damp. When i laid out clothes and came back after a walk they were damp. Awful. If i was staying more than one night i would have asked to see another room or checked out. No one was available for checkout the next morning at the front desk. I waited as long as i could and left. The room rates are ridiculous for the quality of the property.

It was a very clean hotel. I liked that you were walking distance to downtown Port St. Joe. Parking was very easy. Breakfast was delicious!

Cons:

The only thing that I didn’t like was there weren’t any elevators. Not that we necessarily needed it but most people aren’t able to carry things up the stairs.

A gem in Port St. Joe!
Pros:

The Port Inn is right downtown, very close to shopping and restaurants. And only about 3 miles from the public access to the beach where you can see awesome sunsets!
Front desk staff is very nice and happy to help you with anything you might need.
The pool is just right for taking a dip to cool off and sitting outside to relax.

Cons:

The only issue was that my room was on the bottom floor at the very end of the hall right by the street/sidewalk. And the shade was only bottom-up. Due to the fact that lots of people could look in my room as they walked by, I had to keep the shade down, which didn’t allow me to get any natural light. I think it would be great if those end rooms had shades that pulled from the top down so at least you could get light while having privacy.

The property is beautiful.

Cons:

Unfortunately,our air conditioning did’t work. We checked in around 8:00 pm and thought the room just needed time to cool down. It never cooled down and was almost the same temperature inside as it was outside. When we checked out the next morning I told the person at the desk. She said she’d check on it but didn’t say anything about the inconvenience.
