Great location to the beach and Cavill Avenue. The apartment has plenty of room for a family. Pool, bbq and garden area is lovely. The beds and bathrooms were clean. The cost was very good and we would come back and stay again.
On arrival reception was closed even though we arrived in the time that it should of been open as stated in the reception time board. We waited for quiet some time for the receptionist to arrive after we called them. The room was very dated and could do with up grades. The toilet roll holders falling off, no towel rails in main bathroom. We stated 2 children and booking said 2 single beds but arrived to 2 double beds. We were able to seperate 1 bed as it was 2 singles pushed together but we were then short linen. The oven in the kitchen was dirty and only had 1 rack which made it hard to cook for a family. There was left over ice and drinks in the freezer from previous people. There was no vacuum so the carpet became very dirty while we were there. Both clothes Airers were broken and useless, they need replacing. The games room was not how it was advertised. Very dated and missing what was shown. Needs to be updated. We stated with friends and their apartment has issues too.

On the day of arrival we had tried all day to try get hold of the key to no avail. It was only at about 3pm that we were able to get hold of the manger. When we entered the apartment there was a smell, bathrooms were dirty, bed sheets stained, windows were dirty. Kitchen facilities were not clean as if not cleaned after last use. We did take a video as evidence.
We decided to not stay at this property and booked other accommodation @ Soul hotel.
The hotel location was great, right in the heart of Surfers, but far enough away from the club strip.
The hotel had 2 pools, one unheated and one heated with a spa, plus play room with table tennis and a pool table.
Parking onsite underground, Q1 next block over, Beach at the end of the street, 700m.
Light rail is about a 400m walk. A 3-bedroom ground-level unit with direct garden access to both pools.
The toaster was faulty and was tripping a circuit, but it was reported.
The A/C in the main bedroom and the 2nd bedroom was not working, only blew warm air at 25 degrees. The A/C unit was very rusted and reported.
3rd bedroom had a pedestal fan, celing fans would be a great upgrade.
The pool facilities and BBQ area were excellent and a real highlight of our stay. The pool was well used by our family of 4. The apartment was a fantastic size for a small family, offering plenty of space and comfort. The oven appeared to be brand new, which was great, and the beds were very comfortable.
The apartment offered great views of the beach, which really added to the overall experience. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of public transport, making it easy to get around.
Overall, it represented good value for money.
The overall cleanliness of the apartment was average. While basic cleaning had been done, there was little attention to detail. One of the stovetop elements was not working, which was inconvenient during our stay. The bathrooms are functional but could benefit from some updating.
We stayed for 10 nights and felt that a more generous supply of basic essentials would have been appropriate for a longer stay. Only a small amount of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, and dishwashing liquid were provided. There was also no basic cleaning equipment available — we had to purchase a dish brush and cleaning spray ourselves in order to keep the apartment clean.
It may be worth reviewing the cutlery and crockery provided, as the current selection could be improved.
Additionally, while providing one towel per person may be reasonable for a short stay, it felt insufficient for a 10-night booking. Could benefit from providing face cloths.
Overall, the apartment was adequate, but a few improvements in maintenance, amenities, and attention to detail would significantly enhance the guest experience.
The heated pool, spa and games room was a hit with our kids. Great location being only 1 tram stop away from Cavill Avenue and 1 block away from the beach. Day and night views were fantastic.
Full balcony access was great but I wish there was deadlocks at the top to make me feel better about having children on the 15th floor.
In the heart of Surfers Paradise, short walk to beach, two pools and big apartments.
Not much I didn’t like, small things like the stove top, wifi wasn’t the best.
Location was central. End of the street is the beach and a good walk to Broadbeach. Tram stop is close also. The 2 pools were good and the washing machine and dryer looked new. Other than that, nothing else. The games room and ‘gym’ were old and things were missing or broken.
Mould and toxic pots and pants.
I always book apartments for the cooking facilities so when I pulled out the pots and pans to wash, they were all scratched and in horrible condition. A side of toxic metals leaching with your cooked meals was guaranteed. When I took the to show Colin the Manager and said they’re a health hazard and wanted new ones, he had a brand new set for me within the hour at my door. Not sure how people cooked in the old ones 🤮. We arrived at the apartment prior to Midnight and the place was clean and tidy. I had a headache the first 2 days and it wasn’t until I saw mould in the corner of the master bedroom behind a recessed ceiling near the blind that I knew it was from that. I immediately took photos and showed Colin via email and in person and advised we would be checking out asap. He offered to get the cleaners to clean it but I declined. We tried to stay out of the room as much as possible the nxt 24hrs. My husband also developed shingles 6 days after we checked in and I’m certain the mould exposure had an effect on his immunity. No mattress protector or pillow protector. Flimsy sheets.
Colin was pleasant to deal with. I only booked this as left it very last minute and not much to choose from. I was refunded my bond and remainder for nights not used only. Never again.
Location was great
Leaking air conditioning unit with saturated smelly carpet which was reported at start of stay but not fixed.
Unable to use air conditioning throughout stay and had to purchase an air freshener to mask smell of wet carpet.
The location was amazing, and the couches in the apartment was really comfortable.
Cleanliness could’ve been a tad bit better, and some things were broken.
Location was so convenient for beach & food. The pool/spa/sauna was wonderful. The view (apartment #46)was fantastic with the verandah going all the way around. En-suite off the double room was great. Very comfortable living area space. Really lovely bbq and outdoor area.
The apartment (#46) could use some refreshing - it is aging and a bit worn ( missing cupboard on bathroom cabinet, doors need maintenance, wear and tear). Also could use a bit of deep cleaning.
There was no blanket on the double bed when we arrived but there was a spare in the hall cupboard. The single beds need new mattresses, very uncomfortable, but the double was good. There wasn't any milk on arrival, no tea towel. Kitchen drawers need maintenance. No soap holder in the en-suite shower was tricky. A number of things kind of old/broken/missing. Otherwise it was a great apartment and we had the best time.
Location was amazing, close to public transport and food and shops. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool was amazing
Unit was dated, and a bit tried in places. Won’t take much to update it. Suggest new exterior doors and windows, was quite loud in morning, from traffic outside
