What one expects when staying in a mining town. Great atmosphere- loved it
Pros:

Ambience and welcoming staff and management. Comfy beds, spacious bedrooms in the apartment and very clean. Plenty of equipment in the main room. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery/cutlery. Aircon worked a treat in both bedrooms. Shower was excellent once temperature set. Balcony restaurant was excellent for "fine dining" and good menu choices in the Irish Bar.

Cons:

The cracked window in main bedroom. Felt a bit vulnerable going into the rooms straight from the Main Street. Very basic lock. A net curtain in the bedroom would have allowed us to pull back the main curtains and let in some light. No noise insulation so rather noisy at times can hear everything above and next door.

A comfortable and convenient base to explore Kalgoorlie.
Pros:

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite next to the main hotel in a renovated building. Situated on the street frontage, the suite was spacious yet cosy. Great hot water and pressure in the shower, bed extremely comfortable, a/c for comfort heading into winter. Even though on the street front, it was very quiet and felt very secure. Thanks to Helene for her directions to pick up keys and local information. It was a great base to explore Kalgoorlie.

Cons:

If there was just one thing to comment on, as the suite was on the street front with windows, fuller curtains to cover the windows fully at night time would have been great for privacy.
