Good atmosphere, well kept, friendly staff
Beautiful heritage building
The hotel room was old and shabby- desperately needs updating . I didn’t sleep well.
Charm, location, history, sound proof door. Food and drinks very convenient.
Stairs are difficult for the mobility impaired.
Nothing
Expensive. Waited for 30mins in the street for safe car park. 2 bedroom room is poorly fit out and tired. Window smashed on street side.
Central location
Room a bit shabby (see pics) , need of updating. Bit expensive for what it was, would prob try another hotel next time
Beautiful room, very spacious
Plenty of PowerPoints
Comfy Lounge
Couldn’t turn on toilet light independently, comes on with kitchette.
Crappy parking
Front door lock was really dodgy
Location and meals
Tired and old pub
Good location right in the middle of town. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable.
My room was right above the restaurant so I could hear people talking and music playing until late. The room didn't have a microwave. Wifi didn't work in my room so had to sit outside on balcony to get good Wifi signal.
Location was great to get around town
The balcony restaurant lovely meal on Saturday night and good service
No room service on weekends
No breakfast available on the weekend in the hotel
Would have liked clean towels during our stay
Cleaner was nice.
Bed - most uncomfortable bed ever. Went to BCF to buy a mattress for the second night. Receptionist - very rude. Tried to address issues with her. Her response, 'This is not a 5 star hotel.' Shower head needed replacing as water trickled out. Blind did not stay down, needed to use a pamphlet to keep it down. Everything from the carpet to the furniture was is poor condition.
Room was good and good for a short stay.
Nothing
