Overall the whole place. We have never stayed in a more out dated hotel ever. It honestly felt like you were in a hospital room. The holes in the wall in the shower and just overall just a gross feel to the room. Very lucky we only stayed the one night

Pros:

The room we stayed in could do with a bit of a paint job. Thankfully we had a room that had its own fridge, and I do believe that every room should have one. Even though the room was old, it did not ruin our stay. The staff (T) was great. I have heard that other Ibis Budget are charging for parking on site. This should never be the case. I'm glad Ibis Coffs did not charge for parking.

Cons:

The only think I could say is that the room was a bit old, There was rust on the bathroom door. Otherwise I have nothing really bad to say about the Ibis Coffs H.

Economy Accommodation in Coffs Harbour
Pros:

I was assigned a comfortable "family room" on the 2nd floor. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. There is an adjacent hotel serving lunch and dinner.
The "Big Banana" tourist attraction in Coffs Harbour has expanded into a mini theme park, with a water park, rides, escape room and many others. The National Comic Museum and Holden Museum were a real surprise!

Cons:

There were no lifts; carrying heavy bags up multiple flights of stairs was not easy (despite the motivational posters telling you how good this was for you!),
