Stayed here overnight along the Great Victorian Rail Trail and it was lovely. The place is closed on Mondays so I received a text with all check in information etc which was easy to follow.
Room was lovely, shower pressure amazing. It would be nice to have sugar for the coffee, but that's a minor issue. Takeaways a few minutes walk for dinner and overall glad I stayed here.
I was so disappointed with this accommodation. The room was dirty, the furniture unclean and the bathroom was terrible there were stains in the sink and toilet. The grounds around our room was messy and unkept
Staff & meal were great. Room was excellent also.
Very quaint property. Loved that breakfast was there on the landing and we could have it at whatever time we desired.
Restaurant also very good.
This property just needs a new paint as it would increase the review of the stay and renavations would be advised
Great simple accommodation, perfect for an overnight stay. Linen and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfy. Late check in was a bonus as we contacted them ahead of time.
This property was fair for the price
An old building, guest rooms pleasant and roomy. In-room facilities OK and included tea-making and a fridge. The inverter heater was underpowered for the size of the room and the 12foot ceilings. Staff were helpful and pleasant when available but the service desk wasn't available for much of the time. Luggage had to be carried up the old wooden fire escape at the rear. Property not suitable for oldies like me.
Clean room, great value and very convenient.
The gentleman who showed us to our room was lovely and friendly . It’s a beautiful old heritage building and we were lovely comfy and felt safe . Sure it could do with some attention but “ hey “ don’t we all need that at our own homes . Over all a very pleasant stay and we will return as soon as we can . Thankyou 🙂
A very lovely, cozy and welcoming hotel. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and comfy. Amazing shower pressure!
Will absolutely stay again.
Clean toilets down stairs
But otherwise very good
My sisters and I stayed in the off site unit as we wanted accomodation we could all share but with enough beds for the 3 of us. The unit was very comfortable with everything we needed for a single nights stay. My only suggestion would be to provide instructions for the dvd player as we couldnt get it to work and I'm not sure if there was a wifi password also available ? Otherwise a great stay thanks.
we ahve stayed there many times and is our choice in the area. The rooms have always been clean and tidy and easy access.
If we want dinner also very good and the best in town.
Strongly recomend.
Property was beautiful. Staff were amazing.
Meals were devine. Absolutely outstanding that we could have it brought up to our room after a 15hr day working in the mud and rain. The last thing we wanted to do was be around people.
The bed was comfortable, the room clean and comfortable.
The negative, which honestly, was a HUGE negative after 15hrs in the rain and mud... was the shower head was broken. It meant we couldn't enjoy a proper shower.
For an item that isn't that costly, it's a massive disappointment that it was so damaged. Could replace that and take the place from a 4 star to a 5 star instantly.
Very noisy being on a main road. Thin windows...they sounded like they were open, but they were all closed. Shower drips.
The staff and food was lovely
The room was tidy but carpet stained and things dusty.
Bed was super comfortable.
The staircase at the back to enter the accommodation was unlit at night making it dangerous.
The Peppercorn hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. We were staying over on a cycling trip.
Dinner was really pleasant, good food and wonderful service.
We stayed for four nights . The room was never cleaned. Nowhere to place you luggage. Toilet was running for the whole time, Water in the bath tub was brown. Windows , curtains and carpet are not cleaned in quite some time.
Fireplace in the room was smelling. Breakfast was a joke. No bread on Monday.
Overall not a boutique accommodation
