I will highly recommend this accomodation. My husband and I are well satisfied .
Pros:

Room was very clean, bed was excellent very comfortable. Toilet and bathroom were lean, bed sheets are clean and crispy. I like that it is just across train station. It is value for money. Surrounding area is convenient for food and drinks. It feels safe walking around the area. I will book again in our future travel to Sydney.

Cons:

Given that it is an old building, I can understand that toilet and bathroom are outside the room. It was modified to a standard that I have no complaints. It was comfortable and very clean. Well designed with the renovations.

I'll stay there again, and that's the best recommendation.
Pros:

Charming 1920s ambience. Rooms bright and fresh. Bathrooms, although "shared", are discrete; none of the unpleasantness of brushing teeth while someone is grunting and f---ting in a cubicle six inches away.

Pros:

I loved my stay at the Strathfield Hotel. I got used to sharing the bathrooms. My bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well., The location is very well situated opposite the train station.

Cons:

the only downside was that the compressor outside was next to my window, and the noise resonated in my room, but I put up with it.
