Great for the night
Pros:

For the price it was great, but it's an old pub up for sale, needs lots of work to the decor, but it was clean and comfortable and basic. The room wasn't ready at check in time, but otherwise service was fine.

Standard room:
No bedside table, only 2 PowerPoints, both beside the door. Plugging heater in therefore blocked door from opening so unsafe. No fridge. Easily hear conversation in next room and noise in hallway. 1 cheap plastic chair provided. Pub was closed before 7:30 on a Thursday night. They over charged for room but refund coming ( I hope).

Walls are paper thin. Make sure you confirm with property directly that you have the ensuite if that’s what you booked. Staff were awesome. Clean, comfortable, convenient to everything :) Would definitely stay here again.

Although my room had an ensuite and facilities to make Coffee/Tea, Toast or microwave you had to unplug the fridge to use the appliances and there were no utensils, cutlery, cups, plates etc. The stairs were dark as well as the areas outside the door/s to be used at night to enter the building.

Pros:

Friendly staff. Rooms are old but clean and tidy, external bathroom and toilet were always clean.
Really couldn't complain for tge price.
