Silver Sands Resort

Only issue was communication as the keys were not present at key box as per instructions. However. It was arranged quickly by property caretaker and she eased our troubles amicably. Thanks to team who was working on Saturday and Sunday.

Amazing stay, amazing pool and spa, will come back again! Safe, clean and fun for everyone, including a narrow but very challenging mini golf course!

If you have only a short amount of time and don't want to travel too far with little children- this is the place to be. We already got the good weather and beaches in Perth so why not make the most of it?! This place is under an hour car trip from Perth and tailored for families. The apartments are spacious and clean, you get kitchen, fridge, dish washer, washing machine, dryer. The pools are gorgeous! The whole pool area is beautifully maintained with hot tubs and pools indoors and outdoors. The gardeners deserve a big compliment for making the place look great with all the lovely flowers and plants. You can tell, people really care! Thanks for caring!
There is a small mini golf course next to the car park and tennis court, playground, games room with air hockey, pool etc.

The only wish i had would have been an opportunity to eat at the resort. A little cafe or something would be great. But the pub next door does good food too and the IGA is not far off either. Mandurah foreshore is just a 5 minute drive away, where you can watch some dolphins if lucky or eat some fish and chips at Cicerellos. There is a big playground at the foreshore too and you can hop on a cruise if you wish too.

All in one, we had a nice stay and can recommend a visit.

I liked everything. Pools spas sauna, I didn’t like the games room with all the $2 machines. I think it should be all free machines or things like toy kitchens, climbing wall, cubby house etc
We almost ran out of toilet paper and two of each dishwashing soap laundry soap weren’t enough we had to buy more but was enough to cover us till we went to the shop.

Lovely unit with everything needed for the stay. pool area amazing for kids and relaxing. Lots of amenities close by.

Nice resort with plenty of amenities to keep the family entertained (pools, tennis, mini golf, squash, etc)

It was quiet, relaxing and close to where we wanted to be in Mandurah.

Convenient location to beach and local IGA. Great family friendly hotel.

Very pleasant weekend break. Excellent facilities and immaculately clean.

As a family group of 6 aged between 10 to 70 we found the 2 bed apartment to have everything we needed including a surprising amount of space. Plenty of activities for everyone and spaces to just chill out. Nice indoor and outdoor pools plus the tennis and mini golf were also a hit with us all.(even the grandparents) Enjoyed the short stroll to the beach and also a couple of minutes to get to local shops. Had to go by car to get to main areas of Mandurah but with everything to do at the resort that wasn't done too often. Beds comfy and linens and towels of good quality. A true home away from home.

On first impression the resort felt outdated.
However we were given a newly renovated apartment, very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was fantastic for both adults and kids, and the indoor heated pool and spa a good alternative for cooler days and late afternoons. The only downside was the highly unreliable free wifi. Nonetheless, I would recommend the Silver Sands for a nice family vacation.

There is no jym fitness centre but u advertise it 2 have one please erase it

OVER THE YEARS WE HAVE STAYED AT SILVER SANDS SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THE STAFF HELPFUL. GOOD RULES AND REGULATION KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM AND EACH GUEST IS ABLE TO ENJOY A PLEASANT STAY. WE WERE IMPRESSED BY THE REFURBISHMENT TO OUR UNIT EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND MODERN

The Silver Sands in a small 1990's timeshare style complex near the beach. The units are full scale apartments, with lots of room. All the facilities are very good, with the notable exception of wifi service. As with so many places we visited in Australia, the service itself was mediocre, and the signal didn't really reach the rooms. I can't understand how hotels today haven't figured out that reliable internet service is a necessity, not an add-on. Electricity, water, TV and internet. There's no excuse for not delivering this in 2016.

Nice room, nice surroundings slightly tarnished by location next to ground staff workshop...loud chatter all day from ground staff [plainly a friendly lot] encroached onto our 'quiet enjoyment' of the stay. The room was also quite close to a busy main street, and being ground floor, the noise from the street was at times annoying.There may well have been alternative rooms available in the resort, so why they allocate guests to such a location when not necessary, I don't know. Rooms were bright, clean and recently refurbished....nice.

Great facilities for all, especially the pools and spas.
Well maintained, helpful and friendly reception staff.

We had an awesome time in Australia, the room was big and comfortable with cooking facilities but the service could be better if only the reception was open for us to check in when our flight came in at night. Fortunately, my friend was in Mandurah a day earlier and had helped us checked-in otherwise I guessed we would have to stay out in the streets for the night. The hotel could also do with free wifi as this is a necessity nowadays seeing that we do not have a roaming telephone line and it would help a lot to keep in touch.

The overall ambiance of the place was first class. Add to that the special deal we got for this time of the year and we had no hesitation in extending our stay. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We look forward to a repeat stay in the future.
