Nice stay. Great bar for sunset.
Pros:

Great spot with the restaurant and bar onsite. Happy vibe with the wholesome music and games at the bar. Great sunset location

Cons:

Lots of lights in the room not working
Big Flouro lights unpleasant

Not many options in Weipa, so a good spot to stay
Pros:

Staff, with the exception of breakfast, very friendly. Nice outdoor area at the sports bar to relax.

Cons:

Travel groups empty the breakfast buffet early in the morning, so several items not available to others as there’s no refill. A bit overselling on the dinner menu when it says T-bone steak, chips, eggs, grilled tomato and gravy and what you get is a normal steak, one egg and chips… Was very good though!

Good location. Poor accommodation for the price
Pros:

Good location and meals were quite good.

Cons:

The price of the alcohol was ridiculous and the donga style accommodation was very antiquated, not clean and tv didn’t work. I at the very least expect the premise to be clean and all amenities to be working

Disappointing - have stayed here before with no issues but it seems like the whole place has been let go for the sake of

The room we were booked in - wasnt made up - upon entry the bed had been slept in…the next room did not have a hairdryer - which was promised online to have ‘standard’ in the room

Overpriced , my meal was small and cold.
Pros:

An old Donga for $170 pn is not good value , rooms are in a poor state of repair.

Cons:

Staff were disorganised when u was checking in and it took a long time while they mucked about working out how to do it
