Captain Cook Hotel

Its location for our purposes is great.
Parking is an issue with time restricted during the day - maybe they can get help from the council for this.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for airport.
Very basic, but good value for money.

There was a dead roach on the stairs and trash from the previous guest still in the room

Needed a great room close to airport good food and some great little shops

Simple and clean accomodation. Convenient location and great food at the bistro. Rooms close to beer garden were a little noisey from patrons downstairs. Overall no complaints

Will never stay at this hotel on a Friday night again.
No where to park in the back street!
Have stayed at this pub before and enjoyed the food BUT Friday nights the place is packed with tradies and other hi vis shirted guys and girls every where so didn't eat there went to the next hotel.
Could'nt get to sleep because of NOISY Karaoke going on till very late.
Sorry but Friday nights are disappointing at this pub!

we are over 80 years old and hat to carry our luggage up and down the stairs our self.No lifts!!

It was good location to the airport, it was a hotel but did not like the way we checked in. This was done through the bar and we had to complete paperwork which had credit card details on it and it was just placed on a bench as the staff went off to serve other patrons

Not very impressed. The water heating kettle wasn’t working. The floor carpet looks bit ugly.

Location great and staff very friendly,meals were great

Nice place. Be aware music plays until midnight and WiFi didn't reach rooms. Good is meant to be good there.

Good location near the airport, parking easy and once the pub crowd eased off (about 9pm), it was very quiet. Rooms are very comfortable.

Room on ground floor was close to pub patio & recycling bin, so a bit noisy. Room had a musty smell but otherwise was fine.

Its really close to the airport, Friendly staff, check in was quick and they booked a taxi for our return to the airport.

Close to Sydney airport and unlike other 2 or 3-star hotels in Sydney with shared bathrooms, the rooms at Captain Cook Hotel have a private bathrooms. Clean too. The only thing really that disappointed me is that their WiFi was not working the whole time i was there. Not even in the lobby/lounge/pub area. Good thing the hostess was kind enough to allow me to use the computer in their office. But still, i would have preferred the convenience of WiFi. Overall, i'd give Captain Cook a 3 out of 5.
