Pros:

Communal meal was enjoyable . Thanks Gordan and Marcos!

Cons:

Accommodation was poorly equipped. Lacked character/warmth. A table and chairs and cooking and eating utensils would have been appreciated

Worthwhile stay in rural location.
Pros:

Was interesting to see a rural property and hear the family history. The idea of guests assembling before dinner to hear some family stories was a great idea.

Historically interesting experience but probably not value for money.
Pros:

Nice setting, the accounts of history at dinner were informative and interesting.

Cons:

Problem with insects getting in overnight, hidden fee for having a pet and it being overly expensive was disappointing.

Beautiful, peaceful location.
Pros:

The location is lovely, the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The heater wasn't working so our room was freezing cold, however a staff member fixed it for us which we really appreciated. However the bride and groom's heater was not working either so they were freezing cold all night.
I dropped something which I had to retrieve from under the bed.....there was so much dust and dirt under there, I don't think it has been cleaned for years!

We stayed and played golf .the meal was very enjoyable .

Was nice and warm . The bed was not very comfortable felt like there was a hole in the left side .

Pros:

Location was good and room was comfortable. Pre drinks, cheese board and talk with Gordon and dinner was lovely. Breakfast was fairly basic but enough

Very noisy fridge in room which kept us awake but I did tell them.

Pros:

Landelijke ligging, de tijd die werd genomen om gasten gezamenlijk bij het haardvuur of in de tuin de geschiedenis van het landgoed te vertellen. Inclusief anekdotes. Een stromend beekje nabij “ons comfortabele huisje”
