The weather was miserable while I was there but it was comfortable and warm in the unit.

Good location but facilities are old and in need of renovation.
Pros:

Good location. Right by the water side but construction ongoing.

Cons:

No kitchen towels to clean or dry the dishes. No dish soap. Not enough heating. only one bedroom had a portable heater. Wifi keeps hanging and is unreliable.

Exceptional Property/Location.
Pros:

The property had everything we could possibly have wished for! We really appreciated the help also provided by the manager Darren when we first arrived, as he went above and beyond!

There was absolutely nothing to not like about the property, it was just perfect.

Fantastic retreat and refresh location.
Pros:

We had a brilliant stay in Akaroa and our accommodation was key to this. Having a nice, open, spacious apartment to retreat to for afternoon naps was perfect. The location was ideal, the views were amazing, and the staff extremely friendly.

The apartment is a bit tired with little things needing attention.
Key to door lock was tricky to open
Toilet seat wouldn't stay up for a man
Outdoor furniture, especially chairs flimsy and need upgrading. We felt unsafe sitting on them.
No bathroom heater
No electric blanket for cold winters night

The perfect break
Pros:

We have stayed at the Akaroa Village Inn many times, at different times of the year and in different units, and it has always been an absolute pleasure. The hosts are genuinely friendly, helpful and always available to answer questions. Akaroa itself has become our destination to relax away from everyday life and never having to worry about the quality of the accommodation makes it evn more special.
