A nice and spacious little townhouse / apartment in the centre of town and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. However, it is looking a little dated in places and the location of the 3rd bedroom / 2nd bathroom on the ground floor was a bit strange.
The ability to store our bikes in the integral garage was really useful. All said, the apartment was great for our overnight stop!
Fint beliggenhet. Grei parkering.
Slitne rom, svak innlåsning, dårlig internett, dårlig utstyrt kjøkken, slitt kjøkken.
Great location had everything we needed
The location is very good. The views, although not panoramic, are interesting. It is close to restaurants, cafes and shops.
It would be great if the property offered a fast charger for EV vehicles, but there is a slow charger quite close. An accessible three point plug for slow charging in the parking area would be a good option.
Quiet, comfy bed, great location
Our unit required some maintenance attention
Großzügiges Appartement, sauber.
Location and view fantastic. Beds were bliss, best ever. No TV instructions. Crockery should be in a cupboard easy to get too. Elderly people cant cope, nor can they bend down.
Great location, good facilities
No view!
Location and loved the beds.
No TV help. Crockery hidden in a hard to reach place.
A wonderful place to stay…..The three bedroom apartment was well located, with its balcony overlooking beautiful Akaroa Harbour….The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable..Owner and staff were extremely helpful and welcoming…
We would have happily stayed longer if it had been possible,
but we hope to return again one day!
Akaroa Village Inn was a Great place to stay for my 3 nights in Akaroa. It is located just across Beach Road from the shoreline. The bed was comfortable and the suite had everything I needed. The check-in reception area is also an ice cream shop with delicious flavors.
There are several restaurants, cafes, and shops along the shoreline. My favorite restaurant, Aihe, served a delicious salmon! I would stay here again.
I booked 2 tours that I would recommend.
The (3-hour) Akaroa Wildlife Cruise with Coast Up Close was wonderful; Captain, Tony, was familiar with the area and knew where to find fur seals. We also saw several Hector Dolphins riding the bow wave and one Little Blue Penguin floating on the water - plus lots of cormorants and gulls.
The second tour was the Half-day Wildside Discovery Tour with Pohatu Penguins. This was a van tour of the Banks Peninsula and included a visit to the Pohatu Penguin Colony. Don’t miss this!!
Location. Outlook. Outdoor area. Spacious living area.
Shower rose did not spray well
Great view. Lovely room. Helpful staff.
Cant think of anything
