Don't book a studio on the ground level

Loved our stay at Jacaranda. Check in staff were amazing.
Pros:

Close proximity to everything on Hastings Street. Lovely apartment with everything we needed for our short stay.

Cons:

The flat needs to be aired more as it smelt musty when we came in. Some air fresheners would also have been helpful.

Beautiful stay, will be returning
Pros:

Fantastic location. On Hastings street so in the middle of everything, but it’s set back so not loud even on the weekend. The apartment itself was gorgeous. Really nicely decorated, all facilities needed, huge comfy bed, beautiful view onto the river. Clean, easy to lock up when you go out, cool for in summer. The kitchen was fully stocked with crockery and a large fridge freezer. Plenty of room to dry clothes after you’ve washed them too (small bonus compared to other apartments). The sofa was comfortable to relax on. Parking was a bonus! Pool area was relaxing, the pool itself a great size and temperature. Loved the fact there was a bbq and seating too. Staff were incredibly helpful and very accommodating. Checking in was easy which is a nice change from lots of other apartments again (a lock box). Really recommend Jacaranda, we’ll be back for sure. Great value for money too! The beach is just a walk across the street, or down the road to your left too. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, a bottle shop, clothing and souvenir shops within 2 minutes too!

Cons:

Only minor is that the garden is not private (shared with all downstairs apartments). Not a huge issue but worth noting.

Location, location, location!
Pros:

Convenient, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. On Hastings so easy access to all cafes and shops. Super comfortable beds. We had a 2 bedroom so also came with a car park space.

Overpriced for what you get
Pros:

Very central location, next to hastings street and the beach. Comfortable bed

Cons:

The room was not really clean on arrival, the appartment was a bit worn down. Two times we saw a cockroach. We mentioned to the staff that the room was not clean, there was no reaction.
