Pros:

Rooms have been renovated and are clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is stylish. Restaurant downstairs does great food with beautiful lake view.

Cons:

Road noise can be problematic - early rubbish truck emptying 20 bins for complex next door. But otherwise no complaints.

Cons:

I had to park up the street and it was only a one hour parking till the local patrons having lunch left. So then I had to go get my car before the hour was up and drive to the property to wait for a park to become available. It would be good if that could be sorted out. At dinner my partners steak was cooked way too much and for the price it wasn’t what you expect. Management were lovely and gave him a beer and a $25 voucher.

Pleasant stay with pleasant view.
Pros:

Room was large, clean and comfortable, with a view of the lake. Convenient to have the pub directly downstairs, and our meal there was enjoyable. We were worried it might be noisy, but on our Sunday night stay it was fine. FYI - rooms are located upstairs with no lift, so could be an issue for mobility-impaired.

Cons:

Carpark is not big, and parking is on first-come basis. There is no reception, you have to check in with staff at the bar.

Perfection!
Pros:

We have stayed here a couple of times and loved it! So close and convenient to the soccer field which is why we come. Great food and drinks downstairs. Staff are all super friendly.

Cons:

Nothing. We love it at Pippis!

Excellent choice if you are looking for a budget stay!
Pros:

The room was very spacious, clean, and most importantly, faced the lake—we absolutely loved that part! Location-wise, it's excellent as it is right opposite the water, and the surrounding suburb is nice, quiet, and clean. The venue even has an ATM on-site, which I found very useful. The staff at both the bar and the restaurant reception were lovely and helpful. The location is also fantastic for families, being so close to the Speers Point playground, which my son enjoyed very much. Altogether, it offered great value for money.

Cons:

As I mentioned, it is in a quiet suburb, so there aren't many other cafes, restaurants, or convenience stores within walking distance. You will need to take a taxi or drive a short distance to reach them. There is just one small cafe nearby, but it only opens in the morning.
