Fantastic staff, great venue and location.
Pros:

Facilities and venue was fantastic.

Cons:

The sewer smell obviously from a blockage hanging around the rooms all night was very overpowering.

An enjoyable over-nighter.
Pros:

I attended the Whistling Kite wine and paired canapes event and really enjoyed it. Followed that up with dinner which was very good (and huge meal). My room had a view of the river and was well appointed and clean. Breakfast the next morning on the verandah of the cafe was lovely.

Cons:

$4.90 for a 600 ml bottle of water in my room is way over priced.

Comfy bed, pool right outside our door, wonderful breakfast at the pub, great hot shower, very friendly staff.

Cons:

That we couldn’t stay longer.

Good place to stay in Loxton
Pros:

Located in a great part of the town near the river, and close to shops & restaurants. I stayed in the river view rooms that is a small, detached block of rooms away from the main hotel

Cons:

A ceiling fan would have been useful to move air around the large room & would accompany the AC unit to achieve more consistent temperature.

Overnight stay
Pros:

Affordable room above a Pub, comfortable bed, great shower pressure. Fabulous Dinner downstairs, in the middle of Loxton so walking distance to everything.

Cons:

Having stayed here before and always having a room with a Window I wasn't aware that some rooms don't have windows, very dark, lighting not great especially in the bathroom. Great if you are working shifts and need to sleep during the day because it's pitch black... I will request a window next time we book.

Had a great stay and looking forward to my next stay.
Pros:

Room was neat and clean. Bed, bathroom etc were excellent. Could not fault the room.

Cons:

The lights on the bed head did not have an 'obvious' switch.
