Good pub accommodation but the noise from the band and bar below was extremely invasive
Pros:

Good clean basic room. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Cons:

We had a four am start the next day and no one mentioned there would be a band playing under our room from 9pm to 1am. I think they could have given us the opportunity to upgrade to a different part of the hotel or offered ear plugs. It was a nightmare.

It was a comfortable overnite stay

Ease of registration, room clean and comfortable, in city centre - close to everything. Good restaurant and bar.

The big heavy room key and only one.

Pros:

The room was neat and tidy with an ensuite. Iron + ironing board, tea + coffee facilities plus coat-hangers in the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable, although I did need 2 pillows as supplied. The covers kept me so warm I didn't use the split system for heating. Dined in the room where the band, UnSupervised played. I'd love to see them again it was a great night. I ordered lamb chops and other than rocket on the plate, that's all I got, no sides. They were tasty. I found the staff very friendly, especially Karen serving in the bar area. All in all a great place to stay. Several places to eat and a lovely venue.
