Yet another comfortable affordable stay at the Walkers Arms
Pros:

Great amount of space. Good bathroom and shower facilities. Very friendly professional staff

Cons:

As a local regular customer, I was still required to pay a $200 bond via a credit card, as well as providing a drivers licence ( electronic one did not work) as well as car registration. I had booked through Booking.Com. My partner and I are 76, locals, and have stayed before. There should be a more relaxed policy for locals. Puts a dampener on what is otherwise a great venue and a xperience

If you are staying midweek and location is important then this is a good option.
Pros:

Room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping staff were helpful. Location was near to facilities.

Cons:

The noise from the function rooms was easily heard in the room until late at night. The staff at the desk said “Not my problem “ when asked about where I could park my car as the car park was full. As an interstate visitor this was less than helpful as I didn’t know the area.
