Won’t be recommending this place.
Pros:

It was in good proximity to the centre of Bowral.
Bed was really comfortable.

Cons:

No shuttle bus into Bowral. $20 taxi each way for 1.7km.
The place is very run down. Walls are scratched in common areas. Very dark, and no staff around.
To top things off, no coffee beans to make coffee at breakfast was disappointing.
Everything just feels like it’s running on a tight budget - no money.

the photos on the website do not do this place justice. the hotel far exceeded our expectations - pool its so great + so warm. food, service amazing. hotel is beautiful - I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bowral now

Rooms are not sound proof so you can hear people in other rooms and particularly the hallway.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Gibraltar Hotel in Bowral. From the moment we arrived, everything was lovely, the hotel, the atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings and the service were all exceptional. A special mention to Josie, who was absolutely wonderful. She was so warm, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Staff like Josie really make a difference. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend! ❤️
