It was disappointing, especially as we were such a large group booked in for a nearby wedding.
Pros:

The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable

Cons:

The facilities in it were minimal, eg no robes. No comprehensive info about what was in the hotel, only option was a QR code. Even though we had called before to ask if we needed to book the restaurant for a particular night we were told no, we could just turn up. But the restaurant was closed for a private function that night and as there were so many of us who were all staying at the hotel it was super annoying. Also they appeared to have run out of some wines and substituted with "a different label but the same wine" - no it was not the same wine! The breakfast was very expensive and mediocre at $35/head

Location was incredible, so close to the town

There was literally a birds next and a pile of bird droppings on the balcony meaning we couldn’t use the outside (something that we paid for intentionally)

A comfortable stay in a scenic setting
Pros:

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the view on to the golf course was most peaceful. Harvey's bar was relaxing and the food in the onsite restaurant was superb.

Cons:

Given the size of the property, the pool was on the small side and was way too hot, not refreshing at all.
