Pros:

Beautiful setting on the lake, well thought out rooms including kitchens. There was a challenging technical issue that staff worked hard to resolve. In the end there was a satisfactory solution. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Enjoyable but more TLC needed!!
Pros:

Location excellent. Room comfort and facilities v. Good.

Cons:

Outdoor seating area in poor condition, cobwebs and unstable lounge seat.
Grass and general garden tidiness could have been better. Old building and quay with a rusty vehicle in the forefront of the lake!

Wake up to lake views.
Pros:

All cottages have lake views. Well equipped, good parking space and easy to find. Restaurant was closed.

Cons:

Nothing - it is really nice and we would have loved to stay longer. (we could not find the sponge to clean the dishes with)

Quiet remote lodge by the Lake Taupo
Pros:

Beautiful lodge, very well equipped, air condition, car park by the accommodation unit.
It is remote, about 7 min drive from Turangi, where you can find supermarket, café and other facilities.

Gorgeous lakeside accommodation in a very quiet spot.
Pros:

Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Stayed 2nights while doing Tongariro day walk. Beautiful views of lake and hillside. Very peaceful and quiet.

Cons:

Parking area between units is very tight, we had a small car.
