Quiet remote lodge by the Lake Taupo
Pros:

Beautiful lodge, very well equipped, air condition, car park by the accommodation unit.
It is remote, about 7 min drive from Turangi, where you can find supermarket, café and other facilities.

Gorgeous lakeside accommodation in a very quiet spot.
Pros:

Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Stayed 2nights while doing Tongariro day walk. Beautiful views of lake and hillside. Very peaceful and quiet.

Cons:

Parking area between units is very tight, we had a small car.

Very comfortable and spacious.
Pros:

Spacious and clean rooms, large comfortable bed, own patio and amazing view from the cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped. The staff is very helpful.

Great location, apartment well equipped. Outdoor dining table was highly appreciated, especially in good weather. Tokaanu Thermal Pools nearby, so as Tongariro hiking trails.

Beautiful location lakeside, quiet and private.
Pros:

The location of the property was perfect, all the units were lakeside and very quiet away from the main road. Sue the host was easily contactable; we were stuck in Whitianga with flooding and roads closed so I was concerned we would not make it out for the night of our booking. Sue booked a second night as a backup and corresponded with me immediately after every message I sent updating her of our our situation. She could not have been kinder or more understanding and it was very much appreciated.

Nice location shame about the standard of the accommodation
Pros:

Location was good, accommodation was clean

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable, cheap furnishings more like a budget motel, garden run down and poorly maintained.
Owners clearly don’t want to invest in the upkeep and maintenance
Restaurant closed for the foreseeable future
