We absolutely loved our stay here. Very clean and staff were wonderful. We are actually staying again, only a week later.

The place was clean and had a dog run.
Don't book if you've got dogs.
There is a hidden $40 per night fee for a second dog, which I only found out about after the non-refundable payment had been made.
While the resort advertises itself as "dog friendly", that seems to apply to the resort itself and very little beyond it. If you plan on walking your dogs to the beach, think again. There are signs everywhere advising that dogs are not permitted on the walking route to the beach or on the beach itself, even on leads. You can literally hear the waves crashing, but you can't take your pups there. The closest dog-friendly beach is a 20-minute drive away.
The spring storms have been unpredictable, and while a bit of rain doesn't bother us (we're a hiking family), torrential, dangerous rain is another matter. Because of this, I wasn't able to book the accommodation until the weekend before I was due to head town and only discovered the additional dog fee after paying the non-refundable amount.
In a panic, I immediately called and asked if there was any way they could cancel the booking as the extra fee brought the trip outside my budget, the answer was no. However, I was assured I could pay at the counter on arrival.
After an extremely busy week with no time to check my emails, I headed down from Toowoomba. Four hours into the drive, travelling through torrential rain through Brisbane, I realised I was going to arrive a little late. I'd anticipated this and left a message with the automated assistant around lunchtime, but nobody called me back. I tried again at around 4 pm NSW time and was told that the key would not be released until the additional payment had been made.
I was then asked if I could pull over and provide my credit card details while travelling on a 110 km/h highway in sideways torrential rain.
What an incredibly dangerous suggestion. Asking someone to pull over on a highway in those conditions to make a payment is completely unacceptable.

The glamping was not so great. The tent was not shut tight. There were a few holes along the base. The toilet leaked and the shower door didn't close well and water seeped through the bottom. The sliding bathroom door didn't close completely either. Overall, the tent we were in needed a review and maintainance. Other than that, it was a nice spot to relax. Paddle boarding at the inlet was great and kids loved the pool.
Swimming pool water park was great for kids.

The bunk bed was a bit hard to navigate but that was more because of my age
We booked the accommodation last minute, easy to book, easy to find, easy to check in, all areas were clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and all around amazing.
The quality of the mattress in the cabin. It was a but too solid, but wasn't the worst to sleep on.
The facilities were amazing, especially the pool area for the kids. Luxury glamping tent was super cool and all adults and kids loved it. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved everything about our little glamping tent and location was great.
Only annoying thing was, friends arrived on the the day who had initially booked cabins not glamping tents for a cheaper price and were offered to upgrade to a glamping tent on the day for a small fee. Which means they ended up paying over $300 less for the weekend on accomodation than us who had pre booked the glamping initially.
