Okay, could find a better place if you have a family.
Pros:

I liked how I could park outside the door.

Cons:

It was OKAY. It smelt weird, like mens colonge. Bathroom was good. A bit of a sketchy area, the reception was in a gambling pokie machine place. I couldn't take my kid inside so I had to leave her outside and go in. Not a very good location for a reception. Probably better for people without kids.

A good stay over.
Pros:

The location was great. So easy to go over to the pub for dinner. Getting the drink vouchers was a nice touch. The cleaning ladies were so lovely and helpful.

Cons:

The roller blinds on the window and not being able to really open them was a bit scary. You certainly can hear the train a lot although we eventually got used to the sound and was able to ignore them.

Met what we needed extremely well.
Pros:

This was perfect for our needs. We were traveling through Port Augusta for one night only so didn't need anything fancy. This was clean, comfortable and access to the hotel for the exceptional meals was ideal for us. Also gave us a couple of free drinks. Great value for money for a one night stay.

Cons:

We were worried about the proximity of the train lines, but we didn't notice them once we were asleep.
