Outstanding accomodation, fantastic pricing and perfect location.
Pros:

Our week stay at balboa apartments was nothing short of spectacular. The apartment was spacious, very clean, modern and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed throughout the week. The pool was also very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect as well. Walking distance to the Main Street and four mile beach. The pictures online do not do this place justice! Tony was a pleasure to meet and a friendly face to see around. We are definitely going to miss Balboa but we will be back next time. Thank you for having us!

Great appartments in the best location.
Pros:

Location was amazing.
The apartment was very clean with well equipped kitchen

Cons:

The property did not provide any beach equipment,nor games in the apartments.
There was not enough of the toilet paper or bin liners.
The apartment didn’t have solid doors in the bedrooms.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Balboa. If the aircon noise is gone, definitely a place to go back
Pros:

It is roomy, comfy beds and fully equipped. Nice pool. Close to the beach and the shopping street with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops

Cons:

The aircon noise was loud, definitely in the living area. Couple of steps to get into your apartment (not wheelchair friendly) and stairs to get to the office

Location was great, 10 mins walk to the marina, 2 min walk to the "4 Mile Beach". It was very nice, great communication with the owner

Pros:

The spacious and airy ground floor apartment was well equipped and comfortable and perfect for a relaxed 5 nights in Port Douglas. A particular advantage was the location which allowed easy access to restaurants and bars on Macrossan Street, and was 5 minutes walk from the safe swimming zone on the beautiful Four Mile beach. There is a small swimming pool, great for cooling-off, which we didn't use, and plenty of parking. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cons:

Ground floor apartments are potentially affected by people in the pool area, but not after 9pm.
