Pros:

Good location a few minutes walk from restaurants and central Launceston. Plenty of parking. Room had lovely high ceilings, so very light filled, and was quiet despite being in a fairly main road. Clean. Comfy bed and a good shower. Check in staff was delightful and helpful but that’s the only time we saw anyone. Convenient place to spend two nights in Launceston.

Cons:

Lots of stairs but the receptionist kindly helped us with our bags when we arrived.

Nicely renovated historic property elevated position at top end of town close to good cafes and pubs
Pros:

Lovely renovated historic property

Cons:

We didn’t mind the stroll down into town but some might - also need to carry luggage up stairs if not on ground level

Welcoming introduction to the lovely town of Launceston.
Pros:

Lovely welcoming hotel. Pia was so warm and helpful when we arrived and throughout our one night stay. The hotel feels special.

Cons:

Nothing but it is worth noting that the hotel is a climb from the main road into town but this wasn’t a problem for us and taxis are cheap

A lovely old house with a fascinating history, well located to appreciate Launceston.
Pros:

Beautiful big room with a magnificent view. Good location just up the hill from the park and walkable distance to the supermarket. Fascinating history of the property provided which we appreciated!

Cons:

We liked everything! One aspect which might cause some difficulty is the steepness of steps up to the guesthouse if mobility is an issue.
