The towels! You can always tell the quality of a place by their fluffy towels. Their staff also looked like they enjoyed working at the hotel which gave the place a lovely vibe.
A small suggestion, it would be nice to have had a plunger coffee in the tea and coffee bar in the suite.
Loved the property food and drink were excellent have booked for next month
They gave us an upgrade via bookings which was great as it was hubbys birthday. The staff were warm and welcoming.
There was an overwhelming smell in the room - not sure what it was. Plus squeaky floors!

Beautifully appointed, spacious room on the second floor with a fabulous balcony overlooking the mainstreet.
Friendly, helpful staff and the rate was extremely reasonable - we did receive an upgrade - and have previously paid more elsewhere for much less!!

A lovely old building right in the heart of Greytown. Modern fittings including a great bathroom - with a bath! Huge room with a nice sitting area. Excellent restaurant on site.
Who puts a low hanging pendant light directly above the sitting area. Take a helmet.

The Homestead Road was spacious and really well appointed. Loved the balcony space.
What a fabulous town Greytown is and The White Swan is the perfect place to stay near to the shops and cafes. Our unique room upstairs was very comfortable and spacious opening on to a sunny balcony and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed dining in both the bistro and fine dining restaurants where the food was excellent. And the bar, which spills out to a large veranda, has a fun atmosphere.
It was beautiful, clean and luxurious, with friendly staff, a lovely location, easy, fee parking and a great kitchen.
Wir hatten das grösste „Zimmer“, das ein Zweiraum Apartment und sehr gut ausgestattet war. Ruhig und auch für längere Aufenthalte geeignet. Personal beim Empfang und angeschlossenem Pub sehr freundlich. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
Das Personal im angeschlossenen Restaurant war eher cool und im Vergleich zum Pub und Hotel wäre mehr Freundlichkeit schön gewesen. Das junge Personal im Hotel/Pub war hingegen sehr angenehm.
Old world charm, spaciousness, beauty, friendliness, comfort and delicious food - this stay gave me everything I needed after a long drive and intensive day. There’s nothing standard here, everything breathes vision, thoughtfulness and quality, from the soft carpets and luxury shower to the themed room decor. I stayed in ‘Homestead’ and loved the tasteful pictures of livestock on the walls. The ‘fish and chips’ was so simple but perfectly done. Thank you to the whole team. I really enjoyed my stay here!
